No. I wouldn't say that. But it is a disturbing pattern I see amongst many christians. Someone pointed out in one of the posts on this forum sins like gluttony, divorce, etc, etc which when I look at the statistics are church sins, not just world sins.
For example, have you seen the statistics of church members who get abortions?
I think there is a definite trend towards beating up on others so that we don't have to face our own guilt.
The bottom lin problem in my opinion is pride.

Daniel 9:4-5
" I prayed to the LORD my GOD and confessed: " O LORD, the great and awesome GOD, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands. We have been wicked and rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. We have not listened to your servants the prophets.... "

How many christians today would follow Daniel's example and take the blame for their nation being in trouble. Daniel was a godly man but yet he was humble and didn't attack babylon or those of the world but instead put the blame where it belongs.
It is not the monument that makes christians attack non-christians. It is pride.

I will not agree with your current mindset, x. Revelation is a wonderful guide, very much for today, as it will be for the trib, whenever the Lord decides on that happening.

I find what you are saying wayward to what the Lord would have done in His spirit with that icon.

Every Christian effort should be in the world but not of the world, so your thoughts of that icon being just a rock is more black then grey; however these folks are not fighting for a rock. They are fighting for the principles of the Lord laid out in those commandments to gain their rightful place within society. Not shunned away as those you hold hands with want.

Freedom of choice is one thing, support of blasphmy against this spirit is another. There is more to this, x, then man made products. The backbone of GOD's word is in the balance on this issue and you support removing it from society thanks to choice.

Would the Lord want His word removed?

There is no peace to be had tonight, x.

How many christians are actually hurt by this?? None except for the hurt they caused themselves, and non christians are happy.

If God wanted it to stay and if it would of been His will, it would have stay'd and Roy Moore would prolly still have his job. However, Pride had a factor in that.

The fact they are fighting is the problem, God is to fight our battles for us.

Did you give any thought at all to this being a test to see just where you stand? The Lords will is indeed in this, but the mere fact of removal alone for comfort to non-christians?

As far as Slavery goes...yes it started out as financial gain/trade/whatever...but when it got to where Africans were beaten, hung, killed, forced to do somehting they did not want to do....it became wrong. In Africa yes they had slaves, but they were treated like servants! They wern't treated as Slaves there are two different meanings. And for the poster who said African-Americans enslaved themselves...what do you mean by htis statement? How? Now these days this quote can be true, considering(speaking within the AA population only, even though other Populations have the same) the drung game, violence, prision rates etc., yes we are enslaving ourselves. but how did you mean it?

News creates debates, and oh my has it created one here today. What are we going to do about it?

Are we going to sit here and watch us christians destroy ourselves and let the media make mockery out of us? (refering to the priest that was is jail due to petaphellia and the austic bo who died at a prayer service). I am not too worried about Moore, God will see to it that he gets what he desirves, whether awards or discipline, maybe both.

I want this country to be 100% sold out to God... the simple thing is, it's not fair to those who are not... even God gives us free will in religion, and f we are going to be a God centered country, then we should give those others the same free will.

I still stand the same, only the page number is much higher.

Ahh to only stay on the straight and narrow, one would be aok. But the needs of others can only be cared for when the needs within yourself are met
