Help prevent gay adoptions in FL

Tyler,
I have a question for you, that you have not answered...I posted it earlier...Why are you so threatened by homosexuality???? Why does it bother you so???
Amie

I am not intimitated by any homosexual. I pity them, and if they want to live a lifestyle clearly against God's word go right ahead! WHEN YOU TRY AND TAMPER WITH INNOCENT CHILDRENS LIVES, then I get uptight! If the Holy Spirit resided in you, you would be upset also. However it is clear that you cannot see right from wrong. You will not listen to God's word so why would you listen to me? We only have so much time to change our minds before it is to late, the problem is we do not know how late it may be!

Praying for you
Tyler

Why do you refuse then to listen to God's word? Do I have to show you again in scripture that what you are defending sickens God? My word counts for nothing, if you say who you are, then you would listen to God's word. Why be so stubborn towards the will of God? If I put conditions on people then it would not mean a thing because I am a nobody. However you refuse to listen to scripture, Now That's Sad!

I have my beliefs...obviously yours are very different...once again...I believe homosexuals are very capable of being loving, caring parents....you obviously disagree...and Tyler, I am not going to argue with you. I believe what I think in my heart is right...what you believe is yours...I am agreeing to disagree...

Prove it! Show me in scripture, where gay adoption is pleasing to God! Show me in scripture where Jesus had to continually chase after Mary to change her life. Show me in scripture and I will respond , till then you are just stating your own opinions. Unfortunately for you God's word carries a little more weight than yours.

First, I never said that Jesus had to chase after Mary Magdalene to convert her.
BUT, nowhere in scripture do you find where Jesus would shun a sinner, because they did not do a 180 degree life turn, after only one time of witnessing to them.

Show me in the Bible, where Jesus ever took this attitude:
"Let me tell you about how to turn your life around.....oh...gee....not interested? Well I don't want anything to do with you until you see how wrong you are."
--------------------------

By the way, wake up. The statement you are responding to had nothing to do with gay adoption.

In addition, if you really read and understand what I have said, you will realize that I never said that gay adoption was pleasing to God. What I have been saying, is that we have no right to restrict it, in society.
You still haven't figured that out, have you?

Why do you refuse to listen to the fact that noone is disagreeing about homosexuality being sin?

Yes homosexuality is sin. Yes it displeases God, but no more than any other unrepentant sin.

God gives us all the choice of whether to follow him or not. It's called free will. Those who choose not to follow him, will be sentenced to hell.

Do you have even one non-Christian friend? Are they terrible human beings just because they are not Christians?

Unfortunately you fall into a broad category. You believe that everyone who does not hate everyone except for Christians is totally against God. Plus they could not possibly be saved.

That is actually not an uncommon point of view. However it is a SAD point of view.

Plus that mode of thinking is undeniably arrogant, with the (if you don't agree with me you are not a Christian at all) attitude. Pride is a sin, too you know.

I can not speak for anyone else but myself.

I know homosexuality to be a sin. It is abhorent to God. But nowhere does it say to treat all sinners as second(no..third) class citizens, because they are sinners.

Sooner or later you will get the point I have been saying all along, which is this:
Just because they are sinners, does not give us the right to treat them badly and as inferior to us.

Do you treat all sinners badly and talk down to them, as if they are nothing? If so, how do you have a successful witness?

If you are a Christian then stand up for what is right! As a Christian you are supposed to be the salt of the earth, but you would rather lay there like a lump and do nothing about these adoptions! You talk the talk, but offer nothing but lip service. Are you ashamed of the gospel? Then get off your duffs and stand up for God's word!
