Am I the only one from "Mosquito Land"? (Minnesota)

The weather here is just terrible. We walked outside yesterday and couldn't even breathe because the heat index was like 110 or something. I am SERIOUSLY considering moving to Colorado!

I don't know the point behind my post today.

I think I just wanted to talk and have someone hear me

Maybe soon, I'll have time to think of something a little bit more constructive.

I don't live in MN now but I did for the first 18 years of my life. I'm in Wisconsin now, and the temp here is not much cooler I'm afraid. We usually get some of your weather so I anticipate that you will be sending us your 110 heat index tomorrow. Thanks a lot!

Hot? in Minnesota? LOL!

Here in Georgia it is 95-100 degress and raining every day. With the heat index it feels like 105. And it's not just during the summer months, it's hot an humid all year.

we been getting a lot of mosquitioos here in utah the west nile hs crept in here as well to.

Yep. I'm scared to go outside at night cuz of the mosquitos. West Nile virus has been a little problem here for a couple years... but I haven't got it yet.

It was 107 here yesterday (Idaho) and it was hazy so not so intense. Not sure if the hazy was the clouds or the forest fires up north. I actually sighed when I saw the temp drop to 99.

Alright, NOW I don't feel so bad about Minnesota's heat index

I must be one of those women that was designed to live in the mountains, cuddle up to a fire while drinking hot tea, wearing sweatshirts all the time....which brings me to COLORADO!!!

I am SO destined to live there

I don't think the have west nile in Detroit. It's mostly confined to the southern and midwestern states.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma, Four years ago I moved to Seattle and I love it is truly beautiful, I have had many blessing since I have lived her, and the weather is not always rainny as they say today it is 90

I'm so jealous! Seattle? OHHHH Thats where I grew up and for some unknown reason to me and my husband we decided to move to Arizona of all places.. UGGGHH Talk about hot.. Last week we reached record high of 116..

Colorado!!!!! I was born and raised there. I left about 5 years ago (a year in Alaska and the rest here in Idaho). We went back to see mom and dad (grandma and grandpa) and it was like around 90. They about froze me out with the AC. We never had it when I was younger!!!

I would love to be back in the Colorado foothills this week!!!

Oh yes. I'm from Minnesota. It's been dreadful where I live....absolutely. I don't take heat very well, although I'm nigh impervious to cold.

Just think...In six short months it could be 100 degrees COLDER there in Minnesota. hmmm....100 or 0....? Which is better???

I REALLY DO LIKE SEATTLE, BUT,MOST OFMY FAMILY ARE STILL IN TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA, MY EX AND I MOVED ALL OVER WITH THE U.S.S NAVY FOR YEARS, I LIKED ITALY AND VIRGINIA TOO. TODAY IS SUPPOSE TO BE HOT. THE KIDDOS COME HOME FROM THEIR DADS HOUSE SOON AND THEN SCHOOL STARTS ON THE 3RD HERE.
IT IS A BEAUTIFUL STATE, BUT, MY HEART LIES IN OKC.
