The New Jerusalem is on the Moon.

“... man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.” - Deuteronomy 8:3

“...But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.' " - Luke 4:4

Yes, it is quite true, as the verses state, we can NOT live by bread alone. Nay, we must also have the word of God which comes from His mouth. This is essential to our lives, and without it we are sure to die spiritually. Here on Earth though we had a human embodiment of the divine word of God; those meat and potatoes to go along with the bread.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” - John 1:14

What does that leave us with? The reality that this addition to our bread, which is essential to us living forever spiritually, is Jesus. We need Jesus, the living word, to be allow us to live.

Yes it is the Son who keeps our spirits alive, but there is something the Lord has brought to us that is essential to keeping our physical bodies alive. Not by coincidence, this object is also the Sun. The survival of the planet is dependent on the Sun’s continual shining, and without it we would die from freezing over. This broad daylight bathes us, and makes it much more difficult to sin in ways that most would consider sinning.

Eventually the sun sets though, and then we are left with darkness. Horrible, utter darkness; where in it people sin more than they normally would. Sexual sins, murder, theft, drunkenness - all committed more often at night then when in the light.

Now what exactly is Evil? Evil is the opposite of good. Evil is anything not of God, who is of Light. Evil is darkness, as written in the Bible, and something we are to stay far from.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness..” - Isaiah 5:20

“Abstain from every form of evil” - 1 Thessalonians 5:22

I think we can both agree that Satan is evil. We have all seen evil, and never have we seen the complete absence of it. But we can be assured that we will not see Satan or evil in Heaven, because Heaven will be perfection - something again I say, we’ve never seen.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” - 1 Corinthians 2:9

So, if we are to be free from Evil, free from Darkness, free from Satan, where can we turn to if we want to live totally free from Evil? Answer: The New Jerusalem spoken of in Revelation 21:1-10 .

The key thing is though that Satan must NOT be present in the New Jerusalem. Where on Earth can there be an absence of Satan though, for the Bible states:

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” - Revelation 12:9

Simple - we mustn’t look to this World, where Satan is at home.

Up in the night sky there is a place that holds no Satan, no darkness: the front side of the moon. This is a place where darkness doesn’t exist. During our daytime it is on the other side of the world reflecting light, and it is a beacon when we are in the dark. It is the one place that doesn’t face darkness (except during eclipses, which isn’t actually darkness, but I don’t have time to explain this right now).

“...God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” - 1 John 1:5

Yes, the moon is perfect. Up there we are no longer faced with the temptation of Beelzebub and his goons. The only thing we have to worry about is our own fleshly temptations. This is a problem though, if we are still susceptible to our flesh taking over, then we may be able to sin, thus making the moon no longer perfect, in turn making it unsuitable for the New Jerusalem.. Luckily though we have an awesome cover all to this - the Blood of Jesus.

“being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed” - Romans 3:24,25

To better understand how this comes into working, we must understand that Jesus’ blood can completely remove all sin even the original sin of Adam, that at first gave us the fleshly desires. It is stated in the Bible that the Moon will turn to blood,

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” - Acts 2:20

Prior to the New Jerusalem being formed the Lord will take the moon and transform it into blood; blood that comes from the Lord. Thus purifying the dark side of the moon, and making it into light, just as His blood purifies our dark sides.

Now as we know, blood is life.

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood...” - Leviticus 17:11

And it says He will freely give to us the water of life to all who are thirsty - which He can easily do when He is living with us.

“...Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.” - Revelation 21:3

“...I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.” - Revelation 21:6

Then the moon shall lower for us to live upon. Adorned with His blood.

“Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” - Revelation 21:2

A recent total slates the world having 6.3 billion people on it, while percentages of them being Christian range from 20% to 30%. I’ll use 25% as a happy medium. That means 1.575 billion are Christians are all going to be living our Father’s house.

“In My Father's house are many mansions” - John 14:2

Now the worlds largest Hotel in Kuala Lumpur holds 10,000 people, and takes up 25,000 acres. For enough mansions like this to house us all would require 3,937,500 acres of land, which we‘ll subtract from the 9.5 billion acres the moon currently has.

This shall leave us with 9,496,062,500 acres, from which we must subtract the size of the city, at 12,000 furlongs cubed (896,000 acres cubed).

“...And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.” - Revelations 21:16
This gives us 9,495,166,500 acres left.

Since it takes 10 acres to graze 25 horses, that leaves us with enough room to house up to 23,737,916,250 horses to be used in battle.

“And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.” - Revelation 19:4

"Coming down out of heaven from God" indicates a present, continuous action. The values and dynamics which define life in New Jerusalem are already being imparted by God to those who will populate it. Christians are called to embody the reality of New Jerusalem today, even as the world around us appears more and more to resemble Babylon.
