Yeah - you can't go wrong with 4 player gaming. I suppose micro machines, should I have 5 to 8 people to play it, would also be quite fun.
4 player gaming is the tops ..................it is a while since I had a go but it is such FUN ...especially when you are Jaws or oddjob running from James Bond and a woman with a rocket launcher.........^_^ :D

My new job takes up a lot of time. Plus its getting to be my favorite time of year and I like to spend time outdoors. But in truth I really don't make the time to post that I once did.
Is there an underlying reason for that ?
Are you as strong in your faith as you were a year ago?

I like " Thief " and "Far Cry" for PC
Hey you have great taste....in video games anyway. ;)

But seriously, Far Cry is my all time favorite shooter. I have never played a shooter that was more beautiful to look at (with a great graphics card like the one I have  ), offered more freedom of movement and allowed for more varied ways in which to accomplish your tasks (usually killing mercenaries or beasties for those who don't know).

I'm playing through it for a second time on Veteran mode between spending time with my son and running a business. But damn is it engrossing.

Thief 3 Deadly Shadows is an incredible game, the ultimate stealth, action, survival game. The whole thief series is incredible.

I've played and beat Doom 3 already. Great visuals but after the shock factor wears off and the awe of how great the graphics are it gets repetitive. But definately a worthy buy.

If you want the best role-playing experience outside the tabletop (big D&D fan here) try Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic. A great and engrossing video game experience.

Namaste,

Chris

If I had to pick a reason I'd say that I get tired of repeating myself. Well, not so much that, just that before I post I look at peoples intentions and motives. Even if I could refute what a person is saying, if they won't accept it, then I'd rather just leave it alone.

Hmmm... I wasn't too much of a regular around here, but I went back to school so I'm not here quite as much as I used to be. I think I only had about 4 posts per day as my average, but whatever.

As for video games... My personal favorite is Super Mario Bros.

Hey Chris , just out of curiousity do you like Rock music?
Certainly, U2 and Fleetwood Mac are my personal favorites in the rock catagory.

I like all types of music including:

New Age/Meditative
African Tribal (Zulu)
Rock
Hip Hop
Pop (80s pop particularly)
Baroque Classical
15th Century Church Choral (such as the Tallis Scholars)

I even like Shania Twain and Faith Hill though I may be biased due to unrequited love for both of them. However on the whole I am not fond of country music.

Namaste,

Chris

Well, if I count as a semi-older regular... :)

I got bored and sick of debating, plus was losing my temper too easily. Took a downtime from all forms of it. Not sure if I'm back or not really.

Oh, and I had a new bf to be obsessed with. Getting over that now though :p

The boyfriend or the obsession? :D

But yeah, I'm definitely starting to get tired of the debates. I can't get into it every day like I used to. I'll have some days where I really feel like it, and some days where it seems silly and pointless.

Hi nadroj ,

that's because debates can go on forever................what we need is goodwill and loads of things in common like good music!
most things in life are down to trust........

Hey Sparklecat! I missed ya! :)

As for the OP, I think both sides can grow weary of saying the same things over and over. From the Christian standpoint, even Christ had to take time away from the madding crowds for a little peace and quiet. As my Grandma used to say, sometimes a soldier has to put down his sword and get a drink of water.
