Hey, guys

Check out Didache: The teaching of the Twelve -- we are studying it over at EOCC -- and we need your help there.

During the Apostolic Times, The Didache taught against "Faith alone". So Sola Fide was a problem back then, and was called an erroneous teaching.

Jesus did not have to be baptized to remove original sin. That is the whole reason Mary had to be without original sin. Jesus could not come from sin thus Mary had to be sinless.

Astounding. I hear cries and complaints from the Roman Catholics on this particular discussion forum talk about how they are ridiculed and such by Protestants and non-Christians, yet all I see is threads such as this that promote anti-Protestantism. Interesting. Isn't there a rule against this?

You don't like being on the receiving end of the bashing? Welcome to our reality every day... our cross to bear.

I think this thread is merely exposing the lies that very vocal Protestants spread about Catholics. Period. You don't like it, rebuke them for bearing false testimony.

I can't be too sympathetic when it comes to this.

Soldier of Christ,

I agree with you in that I would not have chosen the words "Protestant trash" myself. I would say "anti-Catholic trash." Not all Protestants are anti-Catholic in the way that this site is.

However, some Catholics (myself included) are hypersensitive about this because we are constantly on the receiving end of derogatory remarks, and are constatntly being forced to defend our supposedly pagan beliefs and practices :( . But, this should make us more sensitive to others, we should be more careful about how we refer to others.

I'm sure you can understand our anger when we read claims that this site makes, and then can easily show how they are historically, factually false.

In Christ,
Carly
