No, he said he was very sorry for the misunderstanding, and that obviously she had understood events that had happened that evening very differently from the way he had. Coming as a statement made directly after prosecuters said the case was dead and never would be ressurected it's a very noble speech that attempts to preserve her dignity and make her look like something other then a gold digger. I mean if it had been made during a major portion of the trial in which he was losing it would look bad, but as a speech from what is basically complete victory it's a very nice gesture.datan said:
