How about here? I can understand how you could miss one thread... especially one thread on which you posted on... to comment on posts made well after the OP...

Phoenix, I know your post... and you edited your post after you engaged in a debate on the issue rather than making it a post of sympathy and solidarity so the sarcasm isn't necessary.... However, I don't want to engage in a debate on what was said on another thread.... my intent was to have someone PM me.... please, PM me if you want to point something out like that again.

And I'm very glad we can agree on the barbarity of this cowardly, sub-huiman act. Again though.... I think its common sense to allow people to vent their frustration, their hurt and pain right now..... challenging that will only cause more trouble, though if people wish to engage them anyway, it is my belief they are simply trying to stir up trouble. After all, if people started attacking and rebuking Americans who were hurt and in pain on the very day of 9-11, I'd think the very same thing.
I agree people need to vent their frustration. The problem is that he blatently vented his frustration at Islam as a whole, which was incorrect, wrong and showed his mis-understanding of Islam and the Muslim world.

:sigh: Like I said.........this is a Christian site, not a politically PC forum. I'll just leave it at that.

It was quite PC around here soon following the news of Reagan's death (a measure I supported, I just wish it were applied fairly). Oh well, let's get to using the death of these poor kids to admonish another religion ...

I think right now we are all outraged and hurting by what we've seen and heard the last couple of days. No one wants to see children put through this sort of thing. It's horrible!

It's only human to react strongly and lash out. I'm about as non violent as a person can get and even I want those terrorists to pay with their lives for what they have done. There is no arguement, no excuse for what these people did. There is no justification for it. Innocent children are hurting and I don't doubt many are dead. I think the anger is justified. Only evil cowards could deliberately target school children.

Excellent point. I wasn't registered then but I saw the ridiculous levels of Moderation being applied even when people just said they didn't agree with the excessive Reagan eulogising.

I for one do not wish their deaths to have been in vain. And to ignore the agenda of those who murdered innocent children because it might offend someone sympathetic to them does just that.

Well I find it reprehensible that you suggest that those here who do not think every Muslim is evil, do not think that these acts are the fruits of Islam do not care about the death of innocent children. How you could even suggest that is beyond me. If you honestly thought that you could suggest that there were people on these forums WHO DID NOT CARE THAT CHILDREN DIED and have the post go unanswered - I don't know. You can't have honestly thought that. It's simply impossible. CHILDREN DIED. How could we not care? How could our hearts not scream out in anguish?

Well, it is, as James said. Perpetrated by the same fanactics that murdered thousands in New York a few years ago.

As to the name of the file, I called as it was on my PC when I uploaded it. I have renamed it so as not to offend the PC sensibilities of Muslims and Islamic apologists.

Wrong.

Except that I didn't say that, Phoenix.

Look... I don't appreciate someone hijacking my words and using it as a weapon to plunge in one's own chest and then crying out that I did it. Again, I wasn't suggesting that. I was pointing out how those of us who'd have been expressing the greatest pain over this have been the one's least to address people here combatively. I'm not questioning ANYONE's grief and pain over this.... do not warp my words. As I said earlier... many people have addressed this first politically.... and I'm simply pointing out that those of us who first found it paramount to pray for these chidlren, to express hurt and rage at this tragedy, are the least "emotional" in this political discussion.

Post reported. Probably wont do any good.

Why not ? The name of the file on my local machine was offensive to some people, I reloaded it with a PC name in response to public complaints (I heven't looked for any reports on it). The report is now uneeded, why would I be asked to change what I already have changed ?

The inference of 'jihads' against children. Not only is this ignorance of the term jihad it is also an error when applied to Chechnyan independence.

Not quite the ridiculous error the other Mod is making in saying the Chechnyan rebels are the same people as Al-Qeda. That is just knee jerk infantile thinking.

Its not ignorance at all, but perhaps ignorance that some people do not realize that beyond just the metaphysical, beyond "personal" jihads, there are jihads carried out with violence, assumedly under the guise of protecting Islam.

Perhaps you meant these terrorists are "ignorant" about what jihad means.

That's what we call a "strawman." I didn't say anything smilar to that.
