Oh yeah, I based this opinion on the first two seasons. I have not seen the third season, which involves a group of Christians in one particular story arc. I do not know how they are portrayed.

in Gods house there are two kinds of vessels, vessels of honor and vessels for dishonor.
Artema said:It does have a lot of themes drawn from the book of Revelations, but it mixes it with aspects of Japanese belief systems, like shintoism and Zen buddhism. It's interesting and turns common interpretations on its head, like the Beast being a supercomputer with '666' as its serial number, the Seals all being something of angels on earth, etc, but it's not an example of a true Christian anime.
The manga in question is really well done butm, unfortunately, ends up with the apostles stealing Christ's body and faking the resurrection!taboo said:i found this manga on Jesus, however, i would advise under strong cation to not browse around the site because of some.... other mangas.... http://www.comicsone.com/manga/jesus/
Buzz Dixon said:RUROUNI KENSHIN has been cited; Kenshin himself is a reformed samurai who carries a reverse blade (i.e., the cutting edge is on the back of his swird, no the striking edge) and goes to extreme lengths to avoid killing others. There's an upcoming story arc that is explicitly about Christians and a Christian cult in Japan.
