What does your screenname mean?

Well, when I was little my dad called me Katie, and then my brother only about 4 or 5 started defending himself when ever my parents saw anything out of place by saying "Katie did it, Katie did it." So Katydid just kinda stuck.

Henaynei - I took on a screen name whne I was active on a chat program that used a robotic voice that read the typing - but had a wierd way of phoneticizing things - I wanted to use Heneini - the Hebrew for "here am I" - but the phoneticization was totally unrecognizable - after much experimentation He nay nei (or knee) came out sounding right - and since it is or was a unique spelling I have kept it for over 10 years...

SOJERU (or SOYERU)
Longer for S.O.J.A. (prnounced as Sew-Ha)
is an acronym i made when i was a freshman-sophemore in High School.
It had a simple meaning for 6 years....
"SUM of Jerusalem-Antontiyah(answers of HaShem)"
So, SOJERU/SOYERU is acronymed for "Sum of Jerusalem"
"The Answer of [adding-completing] Jerusalem"

over time, growing in knowledge of Judaism
I learned that my name is also an understanding of "SHEMA"
which does not only mean to "hear"- but its concise definition is to "assemble" or "gather" from dispersed parts...as an engine is a gathering/assembling of parts - thus is the Shema- the SUM of Jerusalem/Yisrael=the Jews...which in the end make HaShem's name ECHAD
"Shema Yisrael Adonai Elohenu Adonai Echad"= which is a command,
"Gather, O Yisrael, Adonai your G-D and make him ONE"- Sum
