Encounters- The Six Day War

PAX Network Special on the Six Day War

The PAX Network jut showed an incredible program about supernatural events during the Six Day War.

There was a story of thousands of Egyptians surrendering to 1 Israeli soldier, when he broguth them in and they asked the Egyptian officers why they surrendered they said the Israeli soldier was accompanied by thousands of angels ready to shoot the Egyptians.

There were several similar stories....

I think they said a video is available on

Six Day War: Was the Six Day War A Miracle?

(about half way down the page)

With all the odds against them, the tiny nation of Israel and its citizen army scored a decisive military victory in the Six-Day War against a major force. How was this victory possible? Where did all those mysterious extra tanks and troops come from? Was this victory foretold by ancient writings thousands of years before the war? Did the Israelis use ancient writings to plan and carry out the war victory? Is this war only one in a series of current events preparing the way for the End Times?

Six Day War

If this repeats it is definitely worth watching

The six day war was the first time that the Jews had control over Jerusalem in 2,573 years.

The time of the end, mentioned in Daniel began June 6th 1967 with the end of the Six Day War. (Dan. 12:4,9)

Luke 21:21-24 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Jerusalem has been trodden down by the Gentiles since this happened in 70AD. The time of the Gentiles ended June 6th, 1967 when Jerusalem once again came under Jewish rule. Surely our generatiuon shall see the Lord's return.

I agree raphe, I believe that the return of the Jews and the state of Israel being in there hands again, to rule themselves is the shorest sign of prophesy in today’s world.

Cenimo, if what your saying is true about all those Egyptian soldiers seeing an armies of angels, then how come the world hasn't heard about such an awesome supernatural event???

When God does something, he does it in a way to "show" that he is truly the lord of the Israelite.
The 6 day war was one of those events but I doubt the angel story mate.

The Israelites won that war because they preemptively took action against an inevitable Arab invasion and because of the preemptive strikes, they took control of the air and from there it was all over. That’s how I remember they won it so well and fast. There was nothing supernatural about it except god had ordained it to happen and what god does, let nothing stand against. I don’t think he needs to scare the Egyptians with visions of armies of angels to give Israel victory against her enemies.

OK, Divine Intervention was specifically mentioned in the program....
Comsider...when the Israeli pilots flew over the Egyptian airfields, the Egyptian fighter planes were lined up like a shooting gallery, becaue the Egyptians were inside having a "Victory breakfast" before taking off...

As for the world not knowing about these events, ask Israeli Intelligence that interviewed the captured Egyptian officers...

From a tactical viewpoint, the Israelis were outgunned and outmanned in extroadinary numbers...

Perhaps you should see this program before you start tearing it apart....

Perhaps I should see the show mate, it does sound interesting and I wasn't trying to pull it apart, I was only expressing my doubts about it.

As for the world not knowing about these events, ask Israeli Intelligence that interviewed the captured Egyptian officers...

:D I don't know if I know any Israeli intelligence personally ;)
Hey Cenimo, I will check your links out and do a bit of a search and see what I come up with, because it sounds like an interesting show. I have seen something similar but I didn't take it to seriously because I have also seen lots of documentaries on aliens and alien abduction along with conspiracy theorys but I don't believe it all at face value.

I saw a show once were they showed markings in the sand on a beach in Israel of a space crafted that had supposedly been seen in that area during the 6 day war and this was a military person claiming it and showing it to media as well. I saw also on this program, other alien and ufo’s encounters in the 6 day war around Israel, so , what and who do we believe??
Which documentary documented the truth. Is it aliens or are they visions of angels????

I don’t believe everything I hear although it is all food for thought.

It really is worth seeing....
coincidence can only go so far (and of course some believe there is no such thing as coincidence)...but the show certainly depicts a very, very improbable series of events....

Who do we believe....hmmm...I used to do an awful lot of late night driving and thus listened to an awful loft of late night talk radio....took me awhile to see the pattern, but things people said on the air that would make you think they were calling from a "funny farm" were in fact items in the regular news...six months to a year later....that happened many times...

:tin

:)

I'm not too sure about "Angelic intervention" - strange things often occur in battle when men are driven to absolute physical and mental exhaustion. In World War One - there was a famous claim that in the Battle of Mons (1914) - Angels came to the aid of the British army and drove back the Germans.

http://www.aftermathww1.com/legend.asp

I am more inclined to disbelieve the story - soldiers who are stuck in the hot desert where the temperatures can reach over 50C - can hallucinate.

The truth of the matter is that the Israeli army was well trained and organized whereas their enemies were not. The Arab and Eqyptian armies were united only on paper - frankly they hate each other. As it is written, A house divided cannot stand. They are also led by braggarts and politically appointed generals.

In 1967, the Israelis, like the Japanese Navy at Pearl Harbor in 1941, achieved complete surprise. The IAF (Israeli Air Force) timed the attack to coincide with the return of the Eqyptian dawn patrol. Their Eqyptian radar operators mistook some of the IAF planes for their own and instructed their anti-aircraft missiles to not fire. The Eqyptian Air General who was flying to a conference also ordered the AA crews to standdown. He was worried that he'd be accidently shot down by his own side.

Once the IAF gained control of the skies, they wiped out the Eqyptian supply columns and tanks etc.. Then the formidable Israeli armored forces came forward to capture a demoralized and confused enemy.

The Eqyptian Government broadcasted that they were the ones winning the war - and kept on repeating their lies until it was plainly obviously false to even a blind man. <Sounds familiar huh?>

However, in the YomKippur War of 1973, the Eqyptians and the Syrians turned the tables on the Israelis and achieved a surprise attack. They nearly succeeded in defeating Israel too but that's another story :)

I'm reading another book on the war now - its "Six Days of War" by Micheal B. Oren.
