Save the party for All Saints Day which is the orginal festival to mark all the Saints that could not have their own day in the Church calendar. This is on 1st November and has now been overshadowed by the darker celebrations.

I've been a big fan of Celtic music for a long time, and I've about 4 CD's of their music:

Riverdance-(from B'way)
Celtic Hymns I
Celtic Hymns II--Instrumental Collection
Celtic Christmas

the Hymns CDs are mostly instrumental, and it's very beautiful...one is a Celtic rendition of "Jesus Reigns" on my CD, but not on my sound icon. (click on my sound icon & listen to it) And one song, "Amazing Grace" was played with an uilleann pipe! :)

I'm looking for more Celtic Christian music--instrumental only!

So it really depends on which type of Celtic music you're listening to. :)

BTW, Halloween is considered a pagan holiday, and the "trick or treat" have Druidic origins which is now watered down to having kids hunt for candy door to door. If you want to celebrate Halloween, there are churches that have "Fall Festival" type where anyone can dress up or not and everyone come together for food, fun, and games. Besides, going door to door is getting more dangerous for kids nowadays.

So...here's my 2¢ :)

Dear Brethren,
I beg you, do not be fooled, rock music, certain types Celtic music, rap, Halloween and Halloween music, are offensive to God. Halloween's roots are absolutely pagan, and I would dare say even devilish. Rock music promotes rebellion, anger, and hatred. Rap incites sexuality and fornication. Knowing this can anyone listen to these types of music with clear conscience?
