I thought I'd pass this on to all who care to stop hunger in the world. How the Hunger Site works is that you click onto the "Give Free Food" button and you help send food around the world. The sponsors of the site give the money.

I've put this site in my favorites so that I can click it daily. One click per day. Here's the site url if your interested in stamping out hunger.

I do this all the time. There's also a bunch of sites similar to the hunger site like the breast cancer site, the child health site, the rainforest site, the animal rescue site. (They're all linked together, btw.) You can also click buttons at www.ecologyfund.com which uses the same idea except it goes to help environmental issues.

It's not fishy. You can read up on it at the website yourself if you're interested. The way it works is sponsers post ads at these sites and thus when you click on a button, you're directed at a page to look at the ads. You also can donate more if you buy stuff from the sponsers (but of course, that cost money). At ecologyfund.com you can donate more by actually visiting the sponsers' websites (still no purchase necessary). Anywayz, it's something kool to do for people like me who are online forever.

Sponsors pay the cost of the food and shipping the food to the people who need it. They pay a certain amount per click, and they use it as advertizing, hoping that clickers will visit their online stores.

I have been doing hungersite for three years and have never had any problems with it. You are completely anonymous and it costs you NOTHING.

thanks for bringing this site to my attention. I visited the link and "clicked", it was a simple movement of the finger, can you imagine what could be achieved if everyone who owned a computer and was online, "clicked" daily? (Of course there would have to be major support for the sponsors also -or they would soon go out of business)

Hmmm...
Does it REALLy go starving people in the world?
I wonder. Really, I do.
Well I guess it takes faith that it does but the site doesn't demand money from you so how can it hurt if you just believe the food gets sent???

I'm clicking every day just in case it does!

I click every day on the hunger site, and also it's sister sites (the breast cancer site, the rainforest site, the child health site, and the animal rescue site). it takes about a minute of my day. on the slightest chance that it will help someone, I think it's worth it.
