Hey Who Believves In Homosexuality because i am christain post your beliefs!!!!!!!!!

Of course, I believe homosexuality is not condoned
in the Bible, nor is it by the Lord Jesus Christ. Homo
sexuality is a sin like any other sin. It's not a men-
tal illness, it's not hereditary, it's not a genetic flaw, it's a choice based on the person's reasoning.
Is murdering an illness? Or is fornication hereditary?
I doubt it. We may be born with the sin of Adam,
however, we were born good, not perfect, but good. We have a choice to murder or not, or to steal or not. People have a choice to be a homo-
sexual/lesbian or not.

Homosexuality is presented in the Bible a few times.
In Leviticus, 1 Corinthians, 2 Timothy, and Romans.
They tell us that homosexuals will not enter into the Kingdom of God, unless they truly repent of their sins. God made us to intimately love the opposite sex (or gender if you will.) We are to love the same sex (gender) as a brother, or as Jesus loves us.

I believe homosexuality is just a ploy to be different.
Despite the persecution, the refusal by scripture,
and contradiction of sexual nature, they still continue with their immoral acts. But, I know there
are many who get away from it, and many who stay.

Well, that's my take. God bless you brothers and
sisters.

Homosexuality?
Although I am not a Christian, I really don't care for it. I do think that it is disturbing, yet I do see it as not being purposely sought after by those who are homosexuals. I agree that homosexuals should not publicly show their affections for each other in public, ex Kissing, touching..... but I have this same view on no pda for heterosexuals as well as seeing people 'go at it' in public disgusts me regardless of sexual preference. I, personally, would rather them keep their discussion of it to themselves, as well as their gay pride parades as I believe 'gay pride' to be both insulting to both them, myself, and others. Why spit in the eye of society with a 'special' day named Gay Pride Day? It very much reminds me of a toddler holding their breath until they pass out JUST to be defiant.

I do agree 100% with all of you that homosexuality is NOT genetic, however, I do not feel from my observations that it is fully 'chosen' and willingly sought after (why would anyone in their right mind CHOOSE to be gay?). I feel that, perhaps, it is one's personality type that tends to lean towards the homosexual lifestyle when exposed to certain stimuli over a prolonged period of time. I find it a curiosity that I can never fully understand, nor do I WANT to for obvious reasons.

Good choice BP! It will benefit your future children
immensely. But, like you mentioned, some may be
of that persuasion due to an immense amount of
exposure to, let's say, homosexual parenting. The
person may have become "homosexual" due to wit-
nessing what was going on, and then they might
have thought it was the right thing to do. A rubbing
off, you can say.

Perhaps it is so, 7891b, that homosexual parenting may 'rub off'' onto the most frail of personalities, but I think that most people that turn out to be homosexuals are not pressured by 'family' necissarily, but by media, peers, school (?). I feel that it would usually have to be far more than one, even if ongoing, source.
Congratulations, happy, on seeing the light. I have one question however that I would be curious to know if you are willing to answer.
Did you truly enjoy the lifestyle of the homosexual? Was it enjoyable when you practiced it, or somehow did you, consciously or not, feel something missing, perhaps of some sort of dark realization that you were not, in fact, satisfied?
I ask you this because I know people who thought that they were, at one time homosexual, only to realize when they were removed from the unhealthy lifestyle that they were living, and placed into a healthy hetero sexual lifestyle, that they felt something right 'click'. The people that I speak of were forced subtly into the situation and then fed trash that 'confirmed' their homosexuality.

"It's not a men-tal illness, it's not hereditary, it's not a genetic flaw, it's a choice based on the person's reasoning." Its a good bit biological and genetic, we covered this on the other thread.

"Some people believe in homosexuality because they believe it is genetic, and people are born that way."

Who? I for one don't. It's still a sin, yes. But unfortunately they have one hell of a pull (no pun intended) in that direction based on many factors including this one.

"This, of course, is not to say that I have not met friendly homosexuals of both sexes that are decent people, but I do find their preference for the same sex disturbingly discomforting."

I'll second your thoughts.

What I find horrifically disturbing, is young children's storybooks that proudly claim as a subject that THIS or THAT 4 year old has two mommies or two daddies, and then claim that they are twice as Lucky in THIS respect. I really don't know what to say about this, as it stresses me greatly to think of it now.

I have talked to people who "came-out" and I had no idea they were gay. They say that they nearly killed themselves and tried to be straight but it is a lie to them bec being gay to them is just as strong as the instinct for us to be straight. This is what I think many fellow christians just don't get. I don't support it, but think of the plight they must have!!

Yes, Spock, these poor homosexuals attempt suicide, become depressed, etc. But do you want to know something, society doesn't help....... it ENCOURAGES homosexuality. Society SCREAMS 'Gay Pride"! Does this help those struggling with their severe problem?
Absolutely NOT. The USA corrupts further and further on this subject.
