I would think being either on a jury or being up for jury duty would be stressful.

It is our civil duty.
We are America because of our democracy and part of that is serving jury duty.
If called I would do it willingly.
My father has been on jury duty before.

i was called for jury duty once, but my doc thought the stress would be bad for me so he had me excused.... i WAS disappointed. 
boring? maybe. exciting? could be. you never know what will come up, and i think every one should experience it once in their life. i hope i get the chance again.

i think its mandatory over here in the uk too unless you are not excused from work or illness im not sure exactly how many excuses would cover it but im sure i could apply for one
ive never done it n would not want to do it either, for the most part it looks rather boring
