In the last 12 years, the U.S. has stepped up its efforts to pressure Israel to give up her covenant lands, several times sharing the spotlight with major storms.

On October 30, 1991, in a meeting scheduled by the first President Bush, Israelis and Palestinians discussed ways to achieve peace in the Middle East. Opening talks focused on trading the lands of Israel for a peace agreement.

That same day, thousands of miles away, a powerful storm was brewing off the coast of Nova Scotia. On October 31st, what would be called "The Perfect Storm" smashed into New England, pummeling the President's Kennebunkport, Maine home with waves 30 feet high. It was a storm so rare that the weather patterns required to create it only happen once every 100 years.

August 23rd, 1992, Middle East peace talks resumed in Washington, D.C. The issue remained surrendering the biblical lands of Judea and Samaria in exchange for peace. Hundreds of miles south, Florida was the target of the worst natural disaster in American history. Hurricane Andrew tore through with an eye more than 30 miles wide and winds up to 178 miles per hour leaving a $32 billion disaster.

On April 30, 2003, America was positioned as the catalyst to jump-start the so-called "solution" to the Middle East crisis. As U.S.-backed Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas was sworn in, the "Road Map" peace plan was set in motion.

The very next day began the worst month of tornadoes in American history, more than 500 in a single month. Normally, 1,000 tornadoes hit the United States each year, but this year, in just eight days in May, 375 twisters ripped across the heartland of America

May 9th, 2003, President Bush addressed students at the University of South Carolina. Bush called on the Palestinians to embrace the road to peace, and see the flag of Palestine raised over a free nation.

Hours later, tornadoes returned and Oklahoma City again became the bulls-eye for deadly twisters, reducing what was left of businesses and homes to splinters and bricks. The tornadoes of May devastated the Midwest with the third worst property damage in American history. Since then, the Road Map has endured a rocky road to June, coinciding with what may be America's most rain-drenched spring in history.

I thought this article was very interesting.

Coincidence or do you think that God is warning the US not to divide the land that He gave to Israel?

Hi Blynn,
George W. Bush believes that creating a Palestinian state will be the answer to bringing peace to the hostile Middle East. But is that wise? Look at these scriptures and see what you think :

Joel 3:2 - "I will gather all nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
There I will enter into judgment against them
concerning my inheritance, my people Israel,
for they scattered my people among the nations
and divided up my land."

Zechariah 12:2-3 - "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. (3) And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Luke 21:24 - "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Excellent verses, Rolling thunder. Here's a few more:

Romans 11:25-26 For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery - so that you will not be wise in your own estimation - a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in: and thus ALL Israel will be saved....

Jesus spoke of other "sheep which are not of this fold; I must bring them in also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd." And "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (John 10:16; Matthew 15:24)

Ezekial 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

The church or house of Ephraim will be the arrow to Judah's bow in the last days - the powerful allie.

Zech.9:13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man. 14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

Isaiah 62:6,7 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind Yahweh, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

To understand Israel we need to see that there are :
Two Houses - Isaiah 8:14
Two Nations - Ezekiel 35:10
Two Families - Jeremiah 33:24
Two Sisters - Ezeliel 23:2-4
Two Branches - Zechariah 4:11-14
Two Sticks - Ezekiel 37:11-28
Two Witnesses - Revelation 11:3,4
Two Lampstands - Revelation 11:3.4

Two, Yahveh is dealing with two houses of Israel. "Two leavened loaves" were waved before Him (Leviticus 23:17). Though imperfect (leavened), they were nonetheless the prescribed wave offering.
Also, Yahveh said to blow "two hammered silver trumpets". But first, they were purified (silver). First they were hammered into shape. Then, their unified sound was used to "summon the congregation". And when both trumpets (purified voices) of Israel are blown, when Ephraim and Judah give forth a completely unified sound, then once again, "All the congregation shall gather themselves..." (Numbers 10:2-3).
Moreover, the Presence of the Holy One was found over the Mercy Seat of the Ark. Over it was found "two cherubim of gold" (purity), both made of "hammered work." And in their embrace, was found mercy (exodus 25:37:9).
So it will be in our day. In the coming embrace of a merciful, unified, purified, Judah and Ephraim, we will once more see the manifest Presense of our Holy One.
