Just thought I would share something interesting that I learned this week with everyone:

1) Each man is to take a lamb 4 days before Passover to see if it is withour blemish (Exodus 12:3,6)

--- Jesus entered city on Sunday... for four days He was at the temple being examined.... "I find no fault in Him"

2) Each man must slaughter the sheep at twilight (Ex 12:6) He must not break any bones (Ex 12:46)

--- Jesus crucified at twilight, no bones broken.....

3) There are 3 Jewish feasts celebrated within an 8 day period : Passover (http://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/feasts/passover.htm), Unleavened Bread (http://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/feasts/unleavened-bread.htm), and First Fruits (http://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/feasts/firstfruits.htm)

--- Passover fell on the day Christ was crucified, Unleavened Bread on the day He was buried, and First Fruits on the Sunday He was resurrected.

4) There is a Jewish custom on the day before Yom-Kippur --day of Atonement-- (http://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/feasts/yom-kippur.htm) in which the High Priest stays up the entire night before being read the law by his peers to keep him from accidentally blemishing himself.

--- Jesus stayed up the entire night before His crucifixion (where our sin was atoned for) being read the law by His peers trying to find fault in Him

Oh there are so many more like this! Especially like the stuff with Abraham and Issac (which makes you know why Jesus said in John 8:56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.

If anyone else knows more please post em in here!!! These things are great!!! Have a great day!
