Philippians 3:12-14: "Yet, my brothers, I do not consider myself to have "arrived", spiritually, nor do I consider myself already perfect. But I keep going on, grasping ever more firmly that purpose for which Christ grasped me. My brothers, I do not consider myself to have fully grasped it even now. But I do concentrate on this: I leave the past behind and with hands outstretched to whatever lies ahead I go straight for the goal - my reward the honour of being called by God in Christ."

We are all in different places in our walk. But no matter where we are, as Christians, we have all been called. So then let us resolve to press on from where we are to the completion of the job God has given us to do. And according to John 15:16 is to go forth and bear fruit.

There are many ways to do that. And yes, it is true that we cannot all Preach or teach. But it is for sure we are capable of doing one of the many choices open to us. It may only be the leaving of a Gospel tract in a place where one needing that message may come along and discover the very message his heart longs for. Whatever it is that we can do, it is for sure there is a service open to us, and we need to be about it with the vigor we would display if Christ were physically walking behind us looking over our shoulder, because I guarantee He, in fact, is doing just that! He sees our every move. Let us not close our mind to that fact but be ever mindful of it.

There are so many ways we can serve, that will have a profound effect on the eternal destiny of those we do not even know.

I have discovered you can buy a dozen roses, of various colors, at Walmart for less than $10 in most places. Bud vases can usuall be found at garage sales andflea markets for a nickle or dime.

When you put a single flower in a sigle cheap bud vase and deliver it to 12 rooms in your local hospital, along with a simple Gospel tract expressing the love God has for that individual and telling them how they can come to know Him, no other words are even necessary. There is no need to preach or even have prayer with them. Just smile and say these are for you, have a good day and leave. God will use that act to perform miracles. If you are willing to share and/or pray with them, so much the more blessing for you.

Hebrews 12:2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.

Hebrews 10:38 And a righteous person will live by faith.
But I will have no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”

Philemon 1:6You are generous because of your faith. And I am praying that you will really put your generosity to work, for in so doing you will come to an understanding of all the good things we can do for Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy. Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who are weak. Be patient with everyone

fills my every longing!!

BTW all, my HUSBAND *faints* is going to go with me this Sunday !! :)

I have some friends who were not saved. She went to Church and got saved, and her husband almost had a stroke. For several years people from the Church would come by to visit but he had nothing to do with them. His wife, however, never pushed him. But one day he went to Church with her. lololololol GOT SAVED, and now has been a Pastor for 20 years with a Doctorate, no less.

I think one of the funniest parts of the story is that one day not too long after he was saved they were driving down the interstate and he pulled off on the side and was crying like a baby. She asked what in the world was wrong, to which he sobbed that he thought he had been called into the ministry. She laughed and said, well, we already know that! lolololol

They are an awesome couple and he is an awesome Pastor/Teacher.

So, point is, when people start going to Church, who knows what might happen. Let your requests be made known unto God!

Seems everything remionds me of a song! Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! Sweetest Name I Know!

Reminds me of a song too :)

If i had wings i would fly, all that i need, You are, and if the world caved in around me, to You i still hold on. Cause You're all that i believe, and the One that created me. Jesus because of you, I'm FREE.

Funny how pushing people seems to have negative effects than just waiting for God to move. Cool! :)

your so right!! LOL

It was a blessed Easter, thank you Jesus.

He came with me because he had said a thoughtless comment last week.  (you men!).  I had just finished reading these forums, we were talking about our favorite subject Jesus.   So when the comment came, I just kissed him and said I love you, and went about my business.  Its a long story but he asked me to go :)!!! *still dancing*    He likes the church too :)
