If the pope has an email address, he isn't the one reading the emails. Like the President, he doesn't have time to the thousands of emails he is likely to get.

Does the Pope know how to use a computer?

Yeah if you get it, Ill write him a letter!

Ill be polite:)

You know, its funny. People always plan on telling the Pope off, but when they get to see him face-to-face, they are awe struck by the Holy Spirit and lose their desire to tear into him. Budge, if you ever met him, I wager you wouldn't even open your mouth.

You dont know me IRL Christopher Paul. Someones celebrity or status doesnt phase me. Ive talked to famous people on the phone--can explain via PM if anyone wants to ask. I just treat them like normal people. Im one of those kind of people that can get up in front of a roomfull of people and say anything if its important enough. Ive never been one to be cowed by the crowd. and if you know what I used to do for a living- before I was disabled -you would know I am anything but a timid person. The Holy Spirit would tell me to be respectful of an elderly man so i wouldnt not insult him or scream at him--dont do that to anyone but if we got time together, Id be asking him some very interesting questions. I would be telling him my opinions. I would not be scared or overwhelmed by the celebrity. I consider the Pope the same as any older man I may have a conversation with at my church--I would be polite and respectful but I would be able to open my mouth without a problem.

I pray for the Pope by the way. (Wont get into exact logistics of those prayers on here but hes in them)

;) I know I am behind a keyboard. However I am not awed by celebrity. This is hard to explain to people but I really am not. As for the fear factor, I dont have to worry about the Pope jumping on me and trying to beat me down--like many of my old teen clients did my co-workers.

The worse thing I would worry about in meeting the Pope is the a) language barrier--I may have difficulty understanding him due to my hearing impairment due to his accent and b) He is intelligent so I better make sure I come prepared and with hours of study behind me and with notes;)

What would I ask the Pope?

Well many things:

I probably would cover the Interfaithism issue--since I consider that one so important.

We could also discuss theological issues--like salvation issues, and others.

I would ask him some hard political questions too.

Id give him a KJV Bible as a present:)

I would just smile at him and he at me and hope that I could be blessed with a hug. If we discussed anything, I would probably mention how much I love and respect him, and how I appreciate his strength. I would also comment on how great I think his pontificate has been because I can't imagine a better man for the job.
