The BBC edit was wrong and deceptive, and stupid since there was plenty of other stuff Trump said which put him in a bad light over this. And now we are getting another deceptive edit:[

The mob storming the Capitol was egregious. Congress ratifying the actual votes wasn't.

So now the words after "our brave senators and congressmen and women" in bold are being omitted. This is also clearly deceptive. So if they weren't going to cheer so much for some of them what was the mob going to do? How would they "take back our country" with "strength" not "weakness"? If the mob stayed outside the building how would they make their voices heard by the legislators inside the building? There's a lot of innuendo going on here.

Agreed. This was an incredibly stupid thing for a the BBC to do.

Agreed. This was an incredibly stupid thing for a the BBC to do.

While the editing was eggregious I don't think it misrepresented his overall message at all.
