Hmmm not so sure what to think of this bill. THe DNA bank to me would be good idea if it was kept for common criminals too, then more crimes could be solved and such.
The scenerios given with Hilary Clinton or Ashcroft seem kinda far fetched to me though

It is also a sin to falsely accuse someone of something. I don't have all the facts and neither do you guys. Pleading the 5th for the sake of national security isn't lying by the way.

Hey, when I was a kid I was told that even white lies will send you hell.
(Of course it was probably only a ploy to freighten a child into accepting Jesus)
I'm not sure how limiting our rights and freedoms helps any with national security. Perhaps you can explain to that to me?
And then perhaps why you can explain how taking a course of action that creates more terrorism helps as well.

If this article is accurate, then the bill is not about national security, but governmental paranoia. It is a start down a dangerous path for us as Americans from which there may be no turning back.
Also, as to the accuracy of the article, it's from www.lp.org, and from my experience, the Libertarian Party types are almost always on top of things when it comes to the more sinister dealings of the US government.
