I find it does the opposite. Connecting the title of "man" with God equates Him to what He created. There's an infinite difference between a man of anything, and the God of everything. When Joshua met Him, He was referred to as "Commander of the Lord's army", much more appropriate than "man of war".

In the Bible, we encounter both images: G-d as a “man of war” and as “commander of the Lord's army”.

In Ex 15:3, G-d is described as a mighty warrior who freed Israel from slavery. It is not about violence for violence's sake, but about G-d's intervention for justice and salvation.

In Josh 5:14, G-d reveals Himself as the commander-in-chief who has the overview and leads His heavenly and earthly armies.

Both images show G-d's power and sovereignty. He fights for his people, but always for the good, not arbitrarily. As “commander,” He leads; as “warrior,” He intervenes when necessary.

They did not play a major role in the rejection of Jesus.
No, because He promoted their ways. So a chance at the true Kingdom rather than the kingdoms of man, was thwarted as usual by man's politics.

The teaching about the ten lost tribes is extremely important because it helps us understand our past and, more importantly, our future. This teaching can help us take a completely different perspective on how our own future will unfold. It is one of the teachings that is most neglected or not taught at all.

In all the elaborations, it is true that when the Israelites left Egypt, they were a large mixed people because a crowd of strangers went with them

And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. Lev 19:33

And one law applied to all

One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. Ex 12:49

The people took possession of the land, and the twelve tribes lived side by side until they became a united kingdom under King Saul. King David was involved in many wars, and under him Israel was a superpower on planet Earth, extending as far as the Euphrates. After that, the kingdom split into the northern kingdom of the ten tribes under the leadership of Ephraim and the southern kingdom, which included the tribe of Judah with Benjamin and the Levites.

From now on, the individual prophets distinguish between the house of Judah and the house of Israel. The house of Judah, the Jews, is not the house of Israel. This can also be seen in the fact that the two houses waged bitter wars against each other:

And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon. 1 Kgs 12:21

YHVH sent his prophets again and again to warn the two houses. When the Assyrians came to carry away the ten tribes, they went into exile. They disappeared from the scene, so to speak, and only the tribe of Judah remained:

Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only. 2 Kgs 17:18

From then on, we only hear about the house of Judah for more than 100 years. They also strayed from YHVH's teachings. YHVH sent them the prophet Jeremiah in particular and warned them that YHVH would send judgment if they did not repent. Since they did not listen, they were then led into Babylonian captivity, from which they returned 70 years later under Ezra and Nehemiah. From then on, the house of Judah, the tribe of Benjamin, and the Levites were under foreign rule for a long time.

Since there was no further mention of the ten lost tribes and only of the tribe of Judah, it may be that it became accepted that only the Jews were involved. But just as the prophecies for the tribe of Judah were fulfilled in the past, the prophecies about the ten lost tribes will be fulfilled, and YHVH will gather them and bring them back.

YHVH has a plan for the ten lost tribes and great promises

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living G-d. Hos 1:10

The prodigal son said in the parable:

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: Lk 15:19a

and the father replied:

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. Lk 15:24a

YHVH brings back the lost. The older son, the house of Judah, on the other hand, was not lost, but was always with the Father. The prodigal son was dead in the eyes of the Father. Just like the ten tribes. They were also dead in the eyes of our heavenly Father:

Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord G-d; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord. Ezek 37:12-14

Living in exile means being in the grave and dead. YHVH opens this grave, gives his Holy Spirit, which brings life (keeping the teachings of the Torah), and leads back to the land of Israel.

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their G-d, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. Hos 3:5

The reunification of the two houses has not yet taken place, but it is prophesied:

Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. Ezek 37:16-17

Who now has the birthright among the tribes?

Reuben? Judah, the tribe from which the Messiah comes?

Reuben was the firstborn, but he forfeited his birthright:

Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's ) 1 Chr 5:1-2

And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near unto him. And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh's head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn. Gen 48:13-14

Joseph wanted to correct this, but Israel said

I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. Gen 48:19b

It is often mistakenly claimed that the ten tribes were lost. However, their deportation or migration can be traced. And YHWH knows exactly who belongs to which tribe.

Some examples:

Under King David, Israel had risen to become a superpower:

And David went on, and grew great, and the Lord God of hosts was with him. And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house. 2 Sam 5:10-11

King David formed an alliance with the Phoenicians, whose most important trading cities were Tyre and Sidon. Tyre's trade covered the entire Mediterranean basin.

1752254526732.jpeg

They had large fleets of ships:

And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon. 1 Kgs 9:27

For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom. And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, 1 Chr 9:21-23a

Stevens M. Collins writes that these Phoenician-Israeli fleet ships could not, of course, take the majority of the Israeli population with them on their voyages, but when the Assyrians threatened them, they did take a significant number of Israelites with them. The fleets then took the Israelites from "Palestine" to the Phoenician colonies such as Carthage, Spain, and the British Isles. Those who did not escape in this way faced the Assyrian army.

They sailed as far as Tarshish in Spain. Interestingly, port of Galicia in northwestern Spain was called "Samarium" (Samaria). (Yair Davidy)

Celtic-Irish-Scottish legends tell of ancestors, the Hiberis (Hebrews?), who came from the Middle East, generally from Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt via Galicia in Spain.

The Phoenicians who colonized the English Isles were Israelites who gave the Hebrew word for "covenant", "b r t" (brit), as the name for the island. Britain.

The Phoenicians founded many colonies, including Carthage, whose original name in Hebrew was Kiriath-Hadeschath, meaning the "new town." The people of Carthage worshipped a g-d named el, but later they worshipped Baal-Hammon, like the ten northern tribes of Israel. The justice of the peace in Carthage was called "shofetim", which is the Hebrew word for judge, and the priests there were the "kohanim".

Dr. Barry Fell reported in his book “Saga America” that coins from Carthage have been found in the American states of Alabama, Connecticut, New York, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nevada.

1752255714590.jpeg

The Assyrians recorded in their writings that 27,290 Israelites had been taken captive by them. But the number of Israelites was much greater than that. As mentioned above, many emigrated on Phoenician-Israeli ships to avoid being carried away by the Assyrians. Others emigrated northward. The well-known historian Josephus said, that there are

two tribes in Asia and Europe, subject to the Romans: while the ten tribes are beyond Euphrates till now; and are an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers.
S.: Antiquities of the Jews - Book XI Chapter 5

Josephus knew about the migration of the tribes and that they were an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers.

This is exactly what Hosea said:

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; Hos 1:10a

These are just a few examples that show the path the Israelites took. This is a separate topic in itself, and there are study books on it

We pray that Israel will extend its sovereignty over more land this year

Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. Isa 54:2-3

For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them. And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans. Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, saith the Lord. Jer 32:42-44

This will increase the security of the Israelis and bring Israel into harmony with what G-d is doing today with all His heart and soul

Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul. Jer 32:41

And that, in turn, will pour out more of His blessings on His people.

Messiah Jesus, lay it on the hearts of believers to pray for Israel that it may take possession of its inheritance

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Oba 1:17

and show them that this is not political but prophetic and is done for Your glory

And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it. Ezek 36:34-36

And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord. Ezek 37:14

Thank You, G-d, that during their meetings in Washington neither Netanyahu nor Trump reaffirmed the “two-state solution” as the goal for ending the "Palestinian"-Israeli conflict

The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. Lev 25:23

Abba G-d, show more Israelis that possessing the land is a biblical commandment that does not depend on what other nations, NGOs, or world leaders say

When the Lord thy G-d shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou; And when the Lord thy G-d shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. Deu 7:1-5

And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you. And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this? Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you. And it came to pass, when the angel of the Lord spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept. Judg 2:1-4

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. He is the Lord our G-d: his judgments are in all the earth. He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: Ps 105:5-11

Lord G-d, we thank You for the growth of the Jewish population throughout Judea and Samaria, and we ask You to do the same in the Negev, Galilee, and the Golan Heights

For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away. The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell. Isa 49:19-20

For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. Isa 51:3

G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, restore to the Jews their biblical land rights

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Ps 125:3

Hebron

And the field of Ephron which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city. Gen 23:17-18

Shechem (now Nablus)

And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money. Gen 33:19

and the Temple Mount

And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my G-d of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 2 Sam 24:24

Lord G-d, strengthen Israel's "Operation Iron Wall" against terrorist enclaves, especially in refugee camps under the "Palestinian" Authority (PA), so that it may continue to achieve great success in dismantling terrorist cells, uncovering and destroying their weapons caches and production facilities

Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me. But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us. In G-d we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah. But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. Ps 44:5-9

Almighty G-d, support Israel's efforts to prevent the PA from creating facts on Your land, including by demolishing some of the structures already built by the PA

And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah. Num 21:3

But, G-d of Israel, preserve some of the illegal buildings that the EU has erected for the "Palestinians" in Area C, so that they may serve as homes for Jews when they return and settle in Your land

And it shall be, when the Lord thy G-d shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full; Deu 6:10-11

And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat. Josh 24:13

Almighty G-d, expose and thwart all Israeli-Arab terrorist plans against Israel

The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Ps 34:16

Almighty Savior, reveal the true intentions of the Arab sheikhs in the Hebron region who want to form an emirate under Israeli security control and reject any involvement of the PA

For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. Mk 4:22

Chaos, panic, death: Twenty people have been killed at a relief goods center run by the American Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) near Khan Yunis; not by Israeli fire, but by violence from within their own ranks. The culprits are in Gaza and they wear balaclavas.

A tragedy has shaken humanitarian work in the Gaza Strip: According to official GHF figures, 19 "Palestinians" were trampled to death on Wednesday morning during a stampede near the SDS3 distribution center. Another was stabbed to death. But what is shocking is not only the number of victims; it is the cause. The aid organization is making serious accusations against Hamas: armed fighters from the terrorist organization are said to have deliberately mingled with the crowd and deliberately caused chaos.

The GHF is one of the few remaining organizations in Gaza that is still able to distribute aid in a reasonably structured manner, with US personnel, clear security protocols, and a high level of commitment. But on Wednesday morning, the situation escalated:

“We confirm with a heavy heart that 20 people lost their lives in a tragic incident at the SDS3 center in Khan Yunis,”

the official statement said.

“Nineteen of them were trampled to death in the crush, one person was stabbed to death; all triggered by a dangerous and chaotic riot initiated by troublemakers within the crowd.”

By “troublemakers,” the organization does not mean frustrated civilians, but armed men with direct links to Hamas. For the first time since the mission began, the GHF has officially reported firearms in the vicinity of its aid centers. A rifle was even confiscated. Furthermore, an American GHF employee reported being threatened with a weapon by one of the Hamas members.

What is happening here is no exception; it is strategy. Hamas is exploiting humanitarian emergencies to demonstrate its power, provoke images of chaos, and discredit international organizations. According to GHF, false information has been deliberately spread via Telegram in recent days: incorrect opening hours, non-existent aid stations, fictitious locations. People were deliberately lured to places that were not even open, all to create confusion and overwhelm.

And the goal is clear: to make Israel appear as the obstacle to aid, to get Western aid workers to abandon their efforts, and to further fuel its own narrative of alleged genocide. What is being destroyed in the process: lives.

The GHF, which operates under extreme risk, has now also issued a public warning:

“There is every reason to believe that armed Hamas supporters deliberately provoked riots within the crowd,”

it says.

“We mourn the loss of life, but we remain committed to providing safe and responsible humanitarian aid.”

But how long can this aid remain safe? When even American aid workers are threatened with weapons? When every distribution operation becomes a stage for terror? And when international media prefer to report on alleged Israeli blockades instead of naming this deliberate sabotage?

In this incident, Hamas is showing its true colors once again. Anyone who mixes armed men in with starving families does not want help, but headlines. Anyone who causes chaos does not want supplies, but escalation. And anyone who holds a microphone in one hand and a rifle in the other is not a freedom fighter, but a terrorist.

Israel continues to allow international aid under difficult conditions, under constant danger to its own population. But what good is the safest corridor arrangement if Hamas itself uses hunger and need for aid as a weapon?

The West, the UN, and the humanitarian community must finally be honest: aid for Gaza is necessary. But as long as Hamas controls Gaza, every aid operation is also a risk—and every distribution point a potential crime scene.

Although the war with Iran is over (at least for now), we must not stop praying for victory in the greater war and interceding; that is, for Israel's salvation, for the kingdom of G-d, for His rule and reign on earth, yes, even for His coming (remember Hannah and Simeon!).

The fire that burned in Jesus' heart was zeal for the glorification of G-d's name on earth and in His people

For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. Ps 69:9

Our redemption serves His glorification

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord G-d; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord G-d, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. Ezek 36:22-23

Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. Jhn 12:27-28

When the Spirit of G-d dwells in us, He will surely fill our hearts with the same passion and zeal that filled Jesus, and enable us to pray.

Thank you for not letting go, for continuing to stand before the Lord with a priestly heart, for having a heart for the glory of G-d, so that His will and His purposes may be accomplished in Israel and throughout the earth.

We have seen that the ten tribes were sent into exile by YHVH because of their sin and unrepentance. Some of the ten tribes were deported by the Assyrians. Others, in order to flee from the Assyrians, emigrated on Phoenician-Israeli ships and settled in Phoenician colonies such as Carthage, Spain, and the British Isles.

In his book Stephen M. Collins describes that a large number of the ten tribes moved from the Holy Land to the Eurasian steppes north of the Black Sea in what is now southern Russia and settled there and in Ukraine from the lower Volga and Kuban to the Dniester in 721 BCE. Shortly thereafter, they became known as the Scythians. They did not sacrifice pigs and did not keep pigs in the countries where they lived.

The Israelites were descendants of Isaac, and the Scythians, as they now called themselves, also took their name from Isaac: Scyth, Saka, Sakae, Sacae, Sai, Iskuzai, or Askuzai. In other words, the Israelites lost their identity and took on other names.

The Scythians then migrated westward and later to Scandinavia, which was first called Scath-anavia, and then to Germania.

In medieval terminology, Vikings, Germanic peoples, Slavs, and Sarmatians were also defined as Scythians.

The Parthians were probably originally a sub-tribe of the Scythians. The Parthian Empire was a large empire and included areas of present-day Iran. The Encyclopedia Britannica writes that the alphabet used in Persia at that time was based on Aramaic. Josephus wrote that he had many readers among the Parthians who were interested in his writings because they were part of their history as former tribes of Israel.

Some interesting facts about the Parthian Empire: The first king to be crowned there was named Asarces, which of course is reminiscent of Isaac. The emperors of the Parthians were all called King of Kings. The Parthian calendar began in the spring by using a cycle of intercalations, similar to the Greek Metonic cycle, and the first month was called Nisanu, following the Babylonian calendar's structure.

Another interesting connection:

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Mt 2:1

When this statement is placed in the context of the Parthians, it takes on a whole new meaning, according to Stephen M. Collins.

The wise men or magicians were powerful and influential members of one of the two bodies that appointed the Parthian monarchs. One body of the assembly consisted of members of the royal family and the other of priests, the magi. The wise men and magi were called Megistanes (dignitaries). The wise men mentioned in Matthew can be regarded as the Megistane of the Parthians. The Greek word for wise man is magos and literally means Persian astronomer or priest. Nowhere does the Bible say that there were three wise men who set out to visit the newborn king. It is assumed that a much larger number of Parthians embarked on this long journey.

As we have seen, the Parthians are descended from the ten tribes, and their priests most likely from the tribe of Levi. Thus, these wise men who set out on their journey were descended from the ten tribes of Israel. Since there were also descendants of the tribe of Judah in the Parthian Empire, they may have been represented in the journey of the wise men from the East. It is possible that up to 12 magi were traveling, representing the various tribes.

The report of the wise men

Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Mt 2:2

Herod was alarmed:

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Mt 2:3

This suggests that it was not only three wise men who came.

And since the wise men were high-ranking statesmen from Parthia, an entire escort of soldiers traveled with them to protect them and the precious goods they brought as gifts. Since the journey was also very long, many servants such as cooks, animal keepers, and animals certainly traveled with them. It could have been a caravan of thousands. This is no exaggeration, according to Collins, as Josephus reports that caravans from the Parthian Empire carrying treasures to Jerusalem were escorted by tens of thousands.

That is why all of Jerusalem was in an uproar and frightened when they arrived. The Jews also understood that the Parthians had come because they wanted to welcome the Messiah, their new king of the ten tribes. Who else but the ten tribes would be looking for a king in Israel?

In this context, the miracle of Pentecost among those present is also easier to understand:

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Acts 2:9

All these provinces belonged to the Parthian Empire. And what were these people doing there?

They had come to Jerusalem for the festival.

Others also came to the festival: from Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, and Asia”.

One of the tribes of the Scythians was called Asii or Asier. Since the Scythians (Sacae or Saka) bore the name of Isaac, Scripture mentions here that people from Asia were also present at the festival. The pagan population of Asia had no interest in worshipping the G-d of Israel and coming to the festivals. Only the ten tribes of Israel could have done so. And as already mentioned, Josephus reported that there were always large caravans from the Parthian Empire traveling to Jerusalem.
S.: Stephen M. Collins: The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel – found! Chapter: The Childhood Years

And the first letter of Peter is written

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 1 Pe 1:1

The apostles were well aware of the dispersion of the ten tribes.

Or James:

James, a servant of G-d and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. James 1:1

When the Parthian Empire fell apart, many moved on. The Scythians were then also called the Saxons and Germans.

Hosea predicted that the ten tribes would be among the Gentiles:

Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. Hos 8:8

The ten tribes became a large mixed people without their own identity. But YHVH promised that he would and will gather them and bring them back

For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. Jer 30:3

The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it. Jer 30:24

And we have now arrived at the end times and are in the process of recognizing this.

The following verses 1 and 2 from the next chapter in Jeremiah

At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the G-d of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. Jer 31:1-2

The hatred of Israel that is spreading worldwide is in reality due to the fact that so many hate Israel's G-d

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: Ps 83:2-5

As people worship their various idols, such as "Mother Earth," "New Age g-ds," "I'll do it my way," and sometimes even "democracy," G-d's Word, which distinguishes right from wrong and dares to call sin "sin," becomes very offensive. Furthermore, Jesus says that the Word of G-d is the "truth" (John 17:17); another unacceptable concept for those who refuse to accept any truth other than their own. Thus, the underlying anger toward G-d is redirected into open anger toward G-d's chosen people.

Messiah Jesus, since You are never confused about the events and attitudes that influence the world today, please guide us as we stand for Your will to be done on earth

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Ps 71:1

For G-d is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Cor 14:33

Almighty G-d, You have placed today's leaders in their positions,

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. Prov 8:15

And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: Dan 2:21a

therefore we ask You to use them, as You did Pharaoh and Cyrus, for the sake of Your name

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of G-d that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against G-d? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if G-d, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Rom 9:15-23

Good Shepherd, give Netanyahu and his envoy Ron Dermer everything they need to deal with US President Trump and his administration in a biblical, courageous, and just manner

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Ps 23:1

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isa 30:21

We praise You again for all the support Trump is giving Israel, but do not let this enormous change from the last US administration tempt the Israelis to trust America rather than You

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. Ps 118:8-9

Abba, as You did with Jeremiah, do the same with all Israel's representatives, both clergy and laity, and put Your words in their mouths

Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. Jer 1:9

Lord G-d, guide Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar and others to stand firm against Western nations such as Britain and France that dare to sanction members of the Israeli government for their strong words against the establishment of a "Palestinian" state on Your land

Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. Num 24:9b

Lord, we ask You to choose replacements for the Israeli ambassadors whose terms have expired

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But G-d is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Ps 75:7-8

Lord Jesus, bring Christian Zionists into the circles of Israeli representatives and let them encourage these Israelis by sharing with them what Your Word says about Israel

I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. Ps 40:10

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; Ps 43:3a

Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Ps 86:1

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our G-d. Ps 98:3

King of kings, extend Your scepter of authority over the UN and its allies, who seem to curse Israel daily, and silence them

Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate. Jer 10:25

Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. Jer 30:20

Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. Zec 2:13

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Mt 28:18

G-d of Israel, turn the curses of the nations, global NGOs, and mainstream media against Your people into blessings because of Your love for them

Nevertheless the Lord thy G-d would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Lord thy G-d turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the Lord thy G-d loved thee. Deu 23:5

Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words. Deu 33:3

Messiah Jesus, anoint the believers who intercede for their nation's relationship with Israel, and use these prayers as an opportunity to pour out Your mercy on these nations

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord G-d. Ezek 22:30-31; cf. Isa 60:12
