Or, a lot of the common soda brands actually make a "Passover version" of their products (with the yellow lid), due to some sort of dietary restrictions Orthodox Jews have where they're not allowed to consume derivatives of grains that have come in contact with water during that holiday. (corn syrup checks that box) so the "Passover Coke" actually uses the real sugar.
