I found some information on NKJV stating that it might not be a good version to read. It sounds rather scary. What do you think?

It's more than just scary because the NKJV has changed more than the "thee's" and the "thou's." In fact, there are hundreds of changes from the "old" KJV.

Stick with the Bible God uses and Satan hates the Authorized Holy Bible King James Version.

Thanks for the links Bruno !

The first thing that first link runs to is the symbol which appears on the NKJV. They go through all sorts of means of painting it to be a satanic, cultic symbol. Here is what the first page of my NKJV Bible says:

Code:
NKJV Logo: The triquetra (from a Latin word meaning “three-cornered”)
is an ancient symbol for the Trinity. It comprises three interwoven arcs,
distinct yet equal and inseparable, symbolizing that the Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit are three distinct yet equal Persons and indivisibly One God.

The New King James Version. 1996, c1982 (electronic ed.).
Nashville: Thomas Nelson.

But according to your link (which, being a KJV-only site is sure to be scholastically unbiased I'm sure), it's three interwoven 6's and is also a cultic symbol used by witches. Now, if nothing were written about the symbol, I suppose you could at least be a little suspicious. But the clear intent of that symbol was to represent a core truth of the Christian faith. That symbol in an of itself holds no power...it is the intent that one should be concerned with, and the intent is explicitly stated in this case.

It reminds me of a website I came across that tried to show how Amy Grant was a devil-worshipper. They showed a picture of her at a concert with a hand up and her index and pinky fingers up. Next to it was a picture of two clerics from a satanic cult making a similar gesture with both hands pointing toward a pentagram. Though I'm not exactly a fan of Ms. Grant's music on the basis of artistic preference, I have yet to find any worshipper of satan who proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ as she does.

The argument is the same...associate it with something emotionally compelling and then proceed from there to denounce it. It's rediculous and completely dishonest, and I see the same thing from these websites.
