No, and it is probably because I don't believe that is what's going to happen; however I have had dreams about the coming tribulation, and wars, new planets, the moon changing, and seeing Christ, but nothing about being taken alive, (or raptured) to heaven.
Would love to hear your dream though :)

My neighbor had one, too.

I dreamed that I was at my father's, just going about nornal life. We were cleaning the basement. I went upstairs to my old bedroom and tried to turn the lights on. The lights were already on, and the switch was in the up position, but I couldn't understand why it I couldn't make it any brighter, although it was already quite bright in the room. I was very puzzled about it.

Suddenly a strange feeling came over me, like joy mixed with weightlessness. While I tried to figure out what that was about, I thought about my dad, still in the cellar. I couldn't call out to him, however. Then I just started lifting off the floor, and I woke up just as I was about to hit the ceiling.

Sounds like the start of an out of body experience. Such experiences happen to a wide variety of people worldwide, of varying faiths. Paul made this statement;

2Cor12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

I don't know anyone who has had such an experience as to have been caught up to the third heaven as stated here, but Paul's description of the event, would, IMHO, allow for me to think that experiences occurring out of the body might have been something he was acquainted with, whether firsthand or otherwise.

One other thing, when you say that you woke up just before you hit the ceiling, were you standing up while floating up? Were you on your back, facing the ceiling? Did you wake up feeling strange? Did you see yourself laying on the bed, possibly with a silver cord, connecting you to your body? Those are common occurrences with people who are experiencing such phenomenon.

Oh, yeah, I have had 3 such dreams in my lifetime though: In one, I wasn't raptured because I stupidly thought it was a tornado and tried to hold on to something. The second I was raptured but woke up before leaving Earth, and the third I don't remember much of. :p

In my last dream I was standing on the streets of a small native village, watching two bald eagles soaring side by side. Then Jesus appeared in the sky; the eagles disappering at his prescence. Two angels then descended from heaven, one on each side of Jesus. They placed a crown upon his head that turned into flames the moment it touched him. Rays of light shone about Jesus and he fell to the Earth.

...then I awoke.

No it wasn't an out of body experience. I was a dream. My body was with me as I rose in my dream.

Out of body experiences are caused by slight seizures in the region of the brain above the right ear. I have had "out of body" experiences before when I was very tired, as have most people. They are merely the mind's way of processing the random firing of the synapses in that region. Doctors report that patients having brain surgery in that area will report out of body feelings for days or weeks until that area heals completely. There's nothing spiritual about it.

Becaue maybe the dreams you guys have are just that, dreams, and nothing more. No deeper meaning, not prophetic, just....dreams.

If I could, I would invite you into the world of my dreams. Trust me, your opinion would change.

God does communicate with people through dreams. Do a Bible search on "dream" and see!

Yeah could be.... but they aren't.

God told me about a girl I would meet in a dream... pretty much how our relationship would turn out, and I'm in the middle of it's fulfllment right now, but I don't really like the end... Anyways.... God told me where to go to college in a dream... told me to get prepared for a trip unknowingly in a dream... and told me something last night about my temper in a dream.

I happen to place a lot of importance on dreams :D

Yep, these are the kind of dreams I had often before I came to know the Lord. We were living in utter sin and still we had these type of demon induced dreams; we called them 'out of body' experiences. They are so "real" ! But they are really illusions. Many astral psychic types talk about them alot.
Since I've been in Christ I rarely have had them. Christ has removed these deceptions from me. I am however amazed at how many "Christian" are still influenced by such demonic stuff and don't even recognize its true source. :sigh:
