  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why?
That is an obviously easy answer. A POTUS election and the electoral college uniquely effects every state and the outcome of the end result if there are shenanigans in any other state.
States were explicitly given the ability to set the rules for themselves.

History proves that Trump started no new wars during his first term. Instead, he ended wars.
Well, as long as the world doesn't end because of trump, then he's just like everyone else.

Even if said rules were unlawfully made and changed?
The ones harmed in that case are the people of the state where those violations occurred.

I disagree with that conclusion because of the presidential election which uses the electoral college.

In a federal presidential election, state Attorney Generals from other states should have been granted standing when some states in question had unlawfully changed their election laws.
The Supreme Court disagreeed:

The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of
complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of
the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially
cognizable interest in the manner in which another State
conducts its elections.

That is the court said Texas didn't have the right to even make the complaint. As a certain governor might say: Texas, it's none of your business.

It’s troubling to consider all the things that the Democrats and media have done since 2011 in their narrative against Donald Trump. Not just because it’s wrong and hurtful to him, but because it has been so divisive and damaging to the country. All the lies and the hoaxes, from Russia collusion on down
I'm not sure what the Democrats have to do with the Russian investigation.
As far as I understand it, Trump's campaign members were investigated by the FBI and then later by the Republican acting attorney general appointed Special Council.
