  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Bolded text I don't understand? I'd like to hear a more detailed conversation about this plan. BTW rental aid is inflationary. Like streamlining regulations

She also proposed a $40 billion fund to encourage local governments to build more affordable housing, streamlining regulations and expanding rental aid, among other steps.

Privacy is very important in christian life...
There would need new apartament buildings designed as a group of independent houses, without common stairs,
with entrances from the terrace connected only with external lifts for cars/people(and safety stairs).
But I think all humans need privacy...

Redistribution of wealth, that does not belong to them to redistribute. But, they will take it anyway.

The way that sounded was the government becoming builders.

The Democrats I've talked to (foolishly) hate this idea. They (foolishly) only care about "low income housing".
So what do you suggest for low income and let's include homelessness? Whats a Republican fix for this ongoing problem?

I don't represent the Republican party - the *current* Republican party, rather, seems to represent my own conscience best... And my conscience tells me that the democrats are for only the poorest of the poor (homeless, immigrants), and traditionally, the Republicans have been for the filthiest of the rich..

...So what about the middle class?

I'll tell you what, if just for a single cycle we could have someone who is actually for the middle class for the first time in 100 years (which we do), all our worst problems would be solved.

When you build up the middle class, it naturally welcomes in the poor. And the poor become the middle class.

So by building lots and lots more houses, you flood the market, which lowers prices, and helps everyone. It's simple supply and demand. And just like with any product; when supply increases, the prices always drop. That's how the poor benefit from the mighty middle-class.

Everyone benefits from the mighty middle-class, they just don't know it yet.
