Olsen expressed his concern that only after digging into the circumstances, did Lake’s team discover that the county had additional signature reviewers that were not working on camera with observers watching them; employees were conducting signature review in their private offices and remotely from home. He referenced Level 1 signature reviewer Andy Meyers, who testified on the first day of the trial that the Level 2 workers told him they were overwhelmed, not realizing there were others doing things secretly. “Why, why was this all done behind closed doors? That is the secret army that Maricopa employed that goes to the heart of the observation of Andrew Meyers, who testified that the math never added up.”
Olsen concluded by citing the standard Lake’s team was required to prove. “Maricopa’s own timestamp log data proves by clear and convincing evidence that Maricopa is not conducting signature verification. … 70,000 ballots approximately were reportedly compared and verified. Within less than two seconds.
Only now do we find out that signatures were being examined for verification in secret with no observers present.

You expect these secure proceedings to occur in a public park?

And...dismissed: Ariz. court rules against Kari Lake in her latest 2022 election lawsuit: Here's what you should know

Another witness, identified only as "Mr. Myers," testified that he took part in one level of signature review and curing process, according to the ruling.

Meanwhile, Valenzuela, according to the ruling, testified that two levels of signature verification and two levels of auditing took place.

"Mr. Valenzuela’s testimony, elicited by both parties, is most helpful to the Court, and the most credible," read a portion of the ruling. "While Ms. Onigkeit and Mr. Myers have ground level experience with signature review, Mr. Valenzuela provided the Court with both a hands-on view based on the 1,600 signatures reviewed by him personally in November 2022 and a broad overview of the entire process based upon his 33 years of experience."

In addition, Judge Thompson stated in the ruling that Valenzuela testified that the final canvass was accurate, and no clear and convincing evidence, or even a preponderance of evidence, contracts him.

Yet another election claim goes down in flames...

...well, that didn't take long. Closing arguments were last Friday...and judge has already decided.

"Lake's legal team argued it could prove signatures were examined in a matter of seconds, so short a timeframe it did not count as verification under state law. Thompson, in a Monday night ruling, disagreed."

"Accepting that argument would require the court to re-write not only the (Election Procedures Manual) but Arizona law to insert a minimum time for signature verification and specify the variables to be considered in the process,"

People are tired of the election corruption. They have to go back and get legislation in to require mandatory jail time for a deliberate breach in the chain of custody or hiding any of the process from legal observation. Lake is a fighter and we will see what she has to say tomorrow.

What she should say is that they have had the opportunity to present all their evidence and make their arguments but the court has rejected all their claims and they accept the verdict. But then, that's not going to happen, is it...

What people are actually up to the back teeth with are elected officials (or those who have been rejected by the voters) bringing case after case after case of spurious claims for some election 'corruption'. And all rejected. Every. Single. One. Often with a slap on the wrist to those have have brought these claims for wasting the court's time, as happened in this case. Lake's legal team was hit with a few thousand dollar penalty for misrepresenting some of their 'evidence'.

It's beyond a joke. But, hey...you just keep on posting them, OK?

Lake is a loser.
Her arguments are losers.
People claiming election corruption only when they lose, are losers.
Their minions who repeat the same nonsense are losers.

I'm tired of certain people implying our state's election process is corrupt. Not a single claim of corruption has been held up in any Arizona court...including the Arizona Supreme court.

What election corruption?
Kinda weird to assert that something is happening in a thread where a trial concluded the preponderance of evidence proves the opposite.
Are we just supposed to take this sort of thing on faith?

The irony in this is that Lake (trying to suck up to Trump possibly for a VP nod) just did a bit in an interview where she was bashing DeSantis, attacking his "lack of ability to win"

He won his state in a landslide and in commanding fashion (even flipping several blue districts red)...meanwhile, she's still trying to initiate a bunch of silly lawsuits because she couldn't win against a democratic candidate like Hobbs who has the charisma of a bran muffin and didn't even show up to debate.

Apparently she's still bitter about the fact that "Hobbs barely trying" beats "Kari Lake trying to work it like a rodeo clown"

What election corruption?
The kind of corruption where candidates who lost try to still take office by gaslighting the public, attempting to convince other officials to violate their oaths and duties, and fabricate evidence for lawsuits before hopefully friendly judges???

Hmm, I think I need to know if the candidate has an R next to their name to figure out if this is election fraud or a patriotic freedom fighter working hard against the deep state.

Way too many people agree with that.

Well, I gotta respect the work ethic of rodeo clowns.
When you think of it, being a Trump loyalist is similar to the work of a rodeo clown.

They jump out in front and make themselves look ridiculous and take all the "hits" while he quietly sneaks away relatively unscathed.
