Paul, who is a friend of a priest who is a friend and confessor of mine, who has begun treatment for a dangerous cancer, and my friend has requested the Akathist of the Theotokos Pantanassa, Healer of Cancer, which is of course a very beautiful and properly well regarded Akathist prayer, as well as other prayers as would be appropriate for Fr. Paul as one in Holy Orders afflicted with a dangerous cancer.
