Night to night, to which I have hours to myself away from the day-to-day business, I have to myself memories and anguishing regrets burn my very being. The past hurts, but I know I'm trying my best. In years past, I have failed others, berated them, failed myself, berated myself, and overall I've forcefully forgot most things in my life yet today I must remember most these mistakes whatever they are, for to forget the mistake is never to extinguish the flame of sadness but rather forget its source.

I am hurting, and my coworkers see it in me, but I cannot divulge to them for whatever reason. Please pray for me, and for all the hurt souls of the world.

Based on what authority do you feel you have to keep beating yourself up with your past mistakes? Does it say to do that in the Bible?

Guilt comes from the devil. Remorse comes from the Lord. He is really the one you need to apologize to. But once you’ve been sincere, and done that, he gets it. You you don’t have to act like he can’t hear well.

You can be remorseful indeed. You can even make reparations and ask for forgiveness where appropriate. you can pray for those whom you have hurt. You can pray for yourself!

Other than that, you need to be putting your thoughts on things of the Lord. Castigating yourself doesn’t do a bit of good to you, or anyone else, and can even be dangerous to your mental and physical health.

The devil wants you to keep tormenting yourself with guilt. That way you’re less effective for your heavenly father and his work. That way you’re not moving closer to your heavenly father.

The way to defeat the devil, is for one major way, to speak or sing the Word. Messiah defeated the devil, in the desert, simply by quoting Bible verses. When little Israel was being approached by great armies king Jehoshaphat sent out priests to sing praises before them. The enemies turned on one another, and all killed one another.

Paul and Silas got out of prison while singing, no doubt while singing praise songs.

David sang to king Saul to help give him relief from evil spirits.

You’ve got a choice. Stay on that hamster wheel with all those negative thoughts and feelings. Or get off by focusing instead, where the Lord wants you to focus, on his scriptures.

Thrre are scripture promises, videos, and scripture songs on YouTube, which you can favorite and listen to. They will not only give you relief from your torment, they will cause you to grow in stature and favor with the Almighty. Overtime if you are persistent.

Some good sources on YouTube are from Integrity Music
And Jump Start. Also, just type scripture promises into the subject space. Don’t just listen to the Word. Speak or sing along with it, and it will get much more deeply into your heart.

Then there is the Bible itself! Are you getting into it daily? There are many audios online that present it.

The devil is not going to leave you alone. He’s going to try to make you feel guilty and useless. But you have a weapon. The sword of the word. Life is a battle. Use your weapon. It will defeat him every time.

I pray for Gods comfort and strength for you and gratitude to chase away these sad feelings. With the help of the Holy Spirit I pray you would not dwell on them but pick up a Bible to be distracted from them. Or take them captive as in 2Cor 10:3-5 if you really don’t want them. There is so much more in life and in our evenings and rest and quiet time to do with our time. So gently take them captive and move on. You can pray about them and pray for others with joy and gratitude or sincerity. I pray strongly for freedom from thoughts that bind and know that nothing can stand against God, no imagination should stop you from being in his arms of love. Repent and become righteous and humble yourself before Jesus and He will lift you up. In Jesus Name.

Praying :) you know I speak His word as in if I feel sad.. in the mist of that sadness the joy of the lord is my strength. I put on Christian music and worship, sing to Him in the mist of that sadness. He will AWAYS be there. See its His joy, His peace, His strength, His armor the more you keep going you find its ALL HIM! Its knowing no matter what we see no matter what we feel He WILL keep His word. Trust in Him have faith that He will keep His word... and that name JESUS..speak it. I had a dream not to long a go all it was was this "you do not invoke/speak the name of Jesus enough"

Please try not to beat yourself up. We all make mistakes in our lives, but we need to learn from them, repent, and become wiser from our experiences.

Lord have mercy on your Servant.

Praying for you too. I can relate to the night guilt. Remember we all have hurt people wether we meant to in the moment or not,and the best thing to do is give your sorrow to the Lord in prayer and trust that it's there at His feet. You are forgiven even when you don't feel it or think you deserve to be. I completely understand how you feel in regards to hurting loved ones. Big or small you are forgiven and can be set free from guilt. Praying for your comfort and joy to be restored in Jesus name amen
