We’ve seen every other shooter’s manifesto that had one and usually excerpts. Why do you not want people to see this one? Why hasn’t it been released?

We actually don't anymore....

Ever since the New Zealand shooter was feared to be spawned by online interactions and feared to spawn more
...Google and various other sources have agreed to remove any attempts to post the manifestos of shooters.

That's why they never released the Buffalo shooter's manifesto.

How can I support them if I don’t know what they are?

How about banning high capacity magazines? I say you get six shots, personal preference, and if you can't bring your target animal down with that, you're just a bad shot. If there are certain situations, say ranchers that have a wild hog problem, that call for a higher capacity, they can get a license for that purpose. We don't need idiots with high cap magazines shooting up the populace. Agree?

Then they would just choose another weapon. The weapon is not the problem it’s the people who use them. If you were able to keep them from obtaining firearms ( you can’t) you would just make them less efficient.

Works for me. It's a lot harder to kill 6 people with a knife than a gun.

I carry a 17 round magazine at work and 2 extra magazines. I don’t want to be restricted to 6 rounds.

Are you military or something along those lines? If you hunt food for a living, then you're a terrible shot. Sorry. You think everyone should have that kind of capacity? Doesn't that just make the jobs of police officers harder?

I was in law enforcement the last 14 years I have been over Security at a hospital. Four months ago I went to work at a much larger hospital. They require me to carry two spare Magazines. In over 30 years I have never shot anyone. Magazine capacity was restricted much of the time I was in law enforcement and you can still find a lot of magazines stamped “Restricted Law Enforcement Only “ but the Brady Bill was rescinded and those magazines are legal now. I can change a magazine so quickly that restricting them to six rounds would just mean carrying more magazines but if I was in an actual shooting situation I wouldn’t want to have to deal with that.

All the respect for your service to the safety of our citizens. Having a higher capacity might make sense given your position. But it makes no sense for your everyday civilian to have that kind of capacity. To be honest, I'm surprised you disagree. Or, maybe you don't?

I would agree with magazine restrictions but I’m afraid law enforcement and military would be the only exceptions and people in Security like me would be restricted

Yes if there’s a resource officer on the scene to stop them. You are opposed to them. And actually a person with an edged weapon 21 feet away from you can travel that distance and stab you before you can draw your weapon and get off a shot. If they take out the security first (if there is any) then they can attack people for however long it takes the police to arrive. Let’s say 10 minutes, how many people could they stab in a crowded classroom with one door?

THese effects also apply to unarmed defenders (like teachers) in that less capable attackers are easier to defend against. It's also really hard to stab your way through a locked classroom door, even a glass one, where as a gun is much more effective at breaching those kinds of defense.

What do you have next? What about our defense against baseball bats? How do we defend small children from a ripped dude and his fists?

We shouldn’t need armed security at our hospitals, we shouldn’t need surveillance cameras in our businesses, we shouldn’t need guns to protect ourselves but we do.
I think this illustrates my point about 'sick America'.
