At least they were single. Usually they're in relationships. Still, maybe that's why they're single? B/c they swoon around 1 guy? It's dumb, & I don't mean to start a gender war, but I rarely see a bunch of guys swooning around 1 girl -> they're usually trying to talk/meet as many girls as they can.

Oh they're women, I though you are all guys.

I remember when I was still working in an office building and we had parties in some nice place. I never really cared about the dynamics of the opposite sex between singles. I don't get bothered women don't talk to me, though I wish I tried better. I never did anything at all. I could have been married if I cared just a little.

They have a lot of women's only groups but only one men's group. I have zero interest in joining a men's group. Please don't say I am missing on good friendships and they might know some one. Trust me their sister, cousin, friends are all married or in a relationship so stop it.

I understand your situation perfectly. It gets worse as you get older and makes it harder to make friends with other men who are married and have family of their own.

I think they see us as weird or even creepy as older / mature single.

However, I should warn you, it shouldn't be a reason to be desperate. Things done out of desperation has good chance of turning out wrong.

I get it, the patriarchy's done a lot of bad things, but if you're trying to attract men, maybe calling death to men, not a good idea.

RIP Dating & marriage

I'm sorry about my venting. I found out a possible lead is very into hyper-feminism.

No thank you from me.
You'll get further by investing your time in being happy and not looking for a spouse.

When I scroll thru dating profiles, & a lot of women have 'Death to the Patriarchy' in their profiles, I see marriage & dating as DEAD
It's the trash taking itself out.

Really, if the profile is supposed to attract a man, I really don't see why posting something like that is conducive to the purpose. I don't see how that would attract anyone except self-hating feminist guys and players who will say anything to get into a woman's pants.

A guy uglier than me but slim only attended church for about 8 months and is already close friends with a woman he only meet last week who is new, they sit together. Meanwhile I been attending for 4 years and I still mainly have more like acquaintances as couples and married women.

Having autism sucks. Not one good thing came out if it for me.

Years ago I had worked with a woman that dated a man with autism. She was happy with him.

I don't remember if I have asked you this or not - do you have some kind of community with others that are autistic? Would you be open to dating a woman that had autism?

There is no one at my church who is autistic. Actually, there was one woman where I joined the group that I left after for other reasons where she did things and had facial expressions that were highly functioning autism. But she was standoffish to me. I never see her at church anymore.

I've always wondered this first part when people on here have suggested or outright said it: How is simply doing yoga something that's demonic/against the Lord?

Yoga is rooted in Hinduism. The poses have spiritual correlations. I'd liken it to a gateway. 'Harmless' activities that make you receptive to others later on. That's the purpose. It was never meant to be a standalone practice but that's how they made it palatable for western audiences.

One of the gravest mistakes believers make is underestimating Satan's craftiness. The question isn't whether a believer should partake but what's the purpose. If it isn't glorifying God or deepening your holiness it's here for a reason.

From a warfare perspective the ruling spirit is the queen of heaven. False religions are her domain.

The Queen of Heaven is one of the wicked and daring principalities that Satan trusts very much. She is connected with virtually all evil. She is to Satan whom the Holy Spirit is to God.

Her witchcraft is the most sophisticated in the list because she is in charge. She is the eternal partner of Satan. She is the direct executive of Satan.

No department of Satan's kingdom can act without her knowledge. She is in possession of every sinner's file. Satan himself, in most cases, cannot do much without this principality. Her office is next to that of Satan. She is the inspirer of all false doctrines.

She is the overseer of dead churches and all evil groups, anti-God and anti-Christ organizations. She is the character builder of all evil men. Her chief ministry is to misinterpret, oppose and fight God and his people
.

All snares have a price. Our inability to discern its presence doesn't lessen the consequences. I wouldn't put myself in her clutches for anything.

I'll probably miss your response but I hope you're well. I'm getting arrows for this understandably. The warfare is greater now. Since I'm getting daggers I assume someone needed to see this and I hope they're blessed. Given your proximity to water you'd be wise to stand against her and the queen of the coast.

Buddhism has a seen a rise in the US. I think some of that has to do w/ the rise of yoga exercises.

It seems to happen fast.

BTW, 2 very good friends I have have minor autism. One has had a girlfriend for a year now. The other had a girlfriend for a couple years a couple years ago.

It is rarer in women. It's probably not the not being open to dating a woman w/ it, but finding one that does.

Buddhism appeals to people desiring religion devoid of references to sin and prohibitions others impose. Eastern practices emphasize emptying and Lewis mentions it in The Screwtape Letters. You'll find elements in some contemplative practices. Thomas Merton was heavily influenced by their teachings.

It's beneficial to gain familiarity with different teachings. You'll spot mixture faster and avoid its trappings. Hinduism is the root. It's influences are more pronounced than the other. Yoga, belly dancing, mendhi and more.

I am still doing yoga and I don't care what you say. If you disagree then why are you telling me. It works better than medication, making me lose weight putting me in a better mood. Also praying to God is a waste of time as he does the opossite, blesses others with relationships while bringing me the same taken people.

Last time I prayed to God and I recorded it was so bad that the married pastor said I had to go downstairs or leave because a woman I asked refused to take off her mask. I also suffer from maskaphobia that developed in 2020 no thanks to God. Like all the praying gave me a phobia while others from Church were blessed with new marriages and babies.

So why do I need to pray to such a selfish jerk like God.

You are making dating an idol. I do it too. Take a breather.

Count your blessings. Seriously. Make a list of all that you have & all that you are thankful for. Share it here.

Do you have male friends? Are you close to your family? I find both very helpful. They keep you busy in ways other things can't. If you don’t, work on building those in the meantime.

I have been reading Christian books. Start reading those. I find them very helpful as well. Authors recognizing people go thru struggles & what the Bible & other believers have had to say on the matter.

I can vouch for this advice. It's good for your mental well-being, and it also asked the opposite sex that you're not some kind of loner.
