Jesus says they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven. Your earthly life will pass away. You will know things that are not possible here on earth. You will not need anything that you had here on earth. You will forget the former things. Why would you want to bring anything from earth into heaven?
Well, arts were created by the LORD. And our gifts and callings are without repentance (Romans 11:29).

I sometimes think those talents won't hold a candle to being present in body, mind, and Spirit.
But, who knows. Jesus may request a private concert, likes what He hears and allows anyone...including the angels,

I also believe they will be jewels in your crown.

I think I can agree :)

focusing too much on material things an it's a distraction.
You got an ear for music and can write songs,
those are your Talents.
as far as it comes to composing music electronically?
why would that matter?
We're talking about "heavenly Bodies"
Bodies Very Similar to ANGELS.
You'll be doing exactly what you love and in a way that will surpass your current understanding.
Where does Scripture say that the resurrected body will be similar to angels I'm pretty sure it says it will be similar to Jesus' resurrected body, not angels'. And even if it were, angels are not some ethereal ghosts or amorphous plasma. As shown in Scripture, they have actual bodies (Ezekiel when describing the cherubim mentioned them having 'flesh'), can eat and even procreate, as shown by the nephilim.

It was a figure of speech.
The bible does say they will be like the angels in heaven.
"For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven" Matt 12:25

With all due respect. This is false. The idea of the material world being evil is false and comes from Plato. God made us material, we COME from the earth. And we are also told that we "Shall be like him". Meaning physical.

When Paul discusses Spiritual bodies in corinthians, he doesn't mean literally spirit. We go to Christ when we die as spirits, yes. But then at the resurrection "The dead in Christ shall rise first". But yet they were already with Christ so what is rising? Their bodies of course.

Job 19:26: Even after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God.
Job here is saying that even after he has died, he will stand before God in his flesh. Our flesh will be made anew.

Edit:
In answer to your question about why would we want to go to another earth? Because we were made for this earth! Material things arent sinful, God actually proclaimed them "Very Good". We desire earth, because we were made to desire it.
Actually you were made for the Lord. If you were made for the earth, God wouldn't care about coming to save you. Adam was made for the Lord first of all.

If you desire earth before God, you're actually an enemy of God. "He who is not with me is against me."
He who is a friend with the world is an enemy of God.

When you die you are given a glorified body and enter into glory. Heaven is less about what its made of and more about who's ruling it. Are you looking to Him or something He made? What is more important?

If you sow to the flesh you will reap corruption. If you sow to the Spirit you will reap everlasting life.

Your title says: " I love what I do, will I be able to do it in heaven?" --------You obviously know heaven is different otherwise you wouldn't be asking that question.

I love what I do too but I love God more because He sustains me and has a plan for me, and that plan has nothing to do with anything that I can do.

The only one who used "material" and "evil" in any context was not me, and there are only two of us. Go check your quotes.

Haha, of course. Figure of speech. When people run out of arguments, they always pull the "it's only a metaphor" card so they can continue believing in what they love instead of the Truth. By this logic, you might as well say that the resurrection is also just a metaphor for gnostic soul immortality. :D
