There dosen't even need to be peace talks. All Putin needs to do is withdraw his forces behind the border between Ukraine and Russia that was decided in the 1990s

But the Russian Navy has always used the ports in Crimea.

And Ukraine and Russia signed a treaty in 1997 to allow Russia to operate their Black Sea Fleet from Crimea.

But then Russia illegally annexed all of Crimea in 2014 clearly showing that the Russians don't abide to or honor their treaties, so why would anyone believe a word that they say.

I would wonder how many lives it is worth.
I saw Putin fight a bear and win, perhaps if Putin leads his army of conscripts and convicted criminals to Ukraine, the war would be over soon.

No they didn't. The USSR placed the border of the Ukrainian SSR to include Crimea and the people of Ukrainian SSR voted to become independent of the USSR in 1991 in *every* oblast, including in Crimea. After that break up, Russia and Ukraine agreed to those 1991 borders and Ukraine agreed to give up its nuclear weapons (inherited from the USSR, just like those of Russia today). It is Russia, and only Russia that is violating agreements.
