We have all heard about Schrodinger's cat. He did not seem to know if the cat was alive or dead. If this was a quantum cat, then we start to look at how much the cat is alive or dead. Is it 90% alive and 10% dead? At least we know the cat is in the box. On a quantum level, a proton can be anywhere in the Universe in real-time. So then you ask whether the cat is actually in the box or on mars.

When I was 8 years old, I had a dream where God took me to the center of the universe. He showed me that the universe was expanding and He showed me where the universe began. Now we have photos of that with the Hubble Camera. So Schrodingers cat does not have to be in the box. Or maybe the cat is 99% in the box but a part of it is somewhere else, outside of the box.

Do we really not have some sort of a premonition of what is going on inside the box before we open it?

The act of measuring screws things up. At least for particles, there appears to be no way to know until you make a measurement which then collapses the wave function.

I think we just don't understand how things work in the universe. The math of quantum mechanics works but translating the math into something real mostly eludes us.

The following video shows how the pilot wave theory works. Basically, a system has an underlying vibration in it. Then a particle is introduced which rides the vibrations. The particle is more likely to be found in certain parts of the vibrations than others. The double-slit experiment had an interference pattern for particles.

The pilot wave theory doesn't explain everything, so it apparently isn't quite right. Still, it's interesting.

I don't agree with the following article's title but there appear to be more issues with the pilot wave theory. Apparently, experimenters in the article were not able to duplicate the double-slit experiment interference pattern using the pilot wave theory, like in the above video.

We see this with the double-slit experiment. Light can be waves or particles but not both at the same time.

I have watches that do not cost much that I use to monitor my vital signs. If I use two different monitor devices it is almost as if they effect each other in a way so as to be consistent. That is when you get into the observer effect.
