Why don't Christians practice what they preach?

The best way is to keep their clothing on, especially their pants.

Wrong. I posted an article about a teenager who got pregnant when a boy ran his hand up her leg. She was standing at her kitchen counter, fully dressed in school clothes, while being raped.

The only way to prevent girls from getting pregnant and dropping out of school is mandatory sex education in health classes because obviously they can get pregnant without lying down with their vaginas exposed.

This makes no sense at all.

I am asking why Christians don't follow through on their own philosophical and moral ideals that are 100% Biblical.

If you vote for someone who raped girlfriends while married, paid them to get abortions, and abandoned his own children, as a Christian, you are not practicing what you preach because voting for him is endorsing three sins you tell people and believe are wrong.
How so?

Funny, I never read anywhere in the Constitution that anybody is able to murder an unborn child. Please direct me to these passages, thank you.

There is no reason to think there is anything funny about it.

Every American adult who speaks and writes English knows there is no such thing as murdering an unborn child because birth is required to be a child and have the right to life.

I’m asking that question because I want to know your answer.

Anti-choice Christians always say they avoid voting for pro-choice Christians because of what the Bible says about abortion.

If you do not support a candidate because he supports abortion, obviously you would never want to vote for one who paid offered money to several women to have abortions. But many Christians in Georgia did that anyway.

What if they had repented about it?

Thinking a sin is only a sin if you don't repent it later is total nonsense. If you think that way, your "repentance" is not honest and you really feel no guilt.

I never said that at all. But I know that there are sins in my past that I’ve repented of and would not do them today. Should that be held against me until I die?

"What if I repent?" can only mean one thing: you want to sin. It is that simple≥ As Christians, we all know better than that. We all know a sin is a sin even if you repent and you can't hide your sins by repenting them. God knows your intent. God knows your heart when you sin and when you repent. The Bible says God knows everything about you, the Holy Spirit convicts you, and only God can be your Judge. So yes, you did mean what I said you did, if you know Scripture. That is true for every Christian who ever lived or will live.

What?! So when Jesus commands us to repent, what do you think He means?

He was talking about our past sins from before we became Christians. Many people believe according to Scripture, repentance is required to be a Christian. So if you are thinking, "It does not matter if I sin as long as I repent," you are not truly 100% for Jesus.

You are making assumptions that don’t align with anything I’ve said. If someone sins, they need to repent of that sin whether they are a Christian or not. But that, apparently, isn’t good enough for you for some reason.

What is not good enough for me is thinking just because you can repeat, it does not matter if you sin. Jesus kept telling people not to sin. His Father did too. Where does Scripture say as long as you repent your sins, the fact you sinned does not matter?

Where did I say that if one repents that they then can continue to sin?

I could not have been more clear that if you think it is OK to sin as long as you repent your sin, you do not really oppose sin and regret sinning. You must truly regret your sin and want to stop sinning before repenting it.

Again, I never said it’s okay to sin as long as you repent. Your argument was about someone who may have paid for an abortion in the past. So I asked you, what if they repented of that sin? Why would that make it so that a Christian couldn’t support them?

Herschel Walker committed the same sins at least three times. So we know he did not repent and feels no guilt about doing any of them. He clearly is the kind of person who would do all of them again while Raphael Warnock is helping women and children from his seat in the U.S. Senate.
