Pray for our marriage

Please pray for wisdom and my ability to exercise self control in my marriage. I have an appointment with my attorney Tuesday to commence divorce paperwork. My wife overheard me saying to myself last night that I couldn't stand her. She may be refusing to allow me to shower. I haven't showered for 3 days. She is refusing to sign the divorce paperwork. The situation here is intolerable. She is compelling me to drive at night when I have difficulty seeing and insisting I postpone cataract surgery. There is arguing and many issues that divide us. Please pray.

I was at the post office and before I left in my car my wife who was in the back seat began to violently yank my hair. I called 911 and had her arrested and requested an order of protection. It is now past 8 PM and I have not received any phone calls and presume she will not return home at least not tonight. I left a voice mail message with my attorney. Please pray for this situation and that my wife will be alright and for God's will.

My wife returned home before 10pm. I haven't been able to take a shower and have an incontinence issue. Tomorrow will be the fourth day without a shower.My wife has been blocking me from taking a shower.

I'm not exactly sure what is the catalyst for the troubles in your marriage, I pray that you and your wife will resolve it to the benefit of both

Since for sometime you have given different examples of physical and verbal abuse from your wife, I wonder if the posts you have left here about all that could be used by your attorney as documentation. Maybe something to ask him or her about, and pray about.

I pray you will be led to freedom and healing from the abuse you have suffered and that you’ll be protected from harm.

I pray that the Lord will guide your Wife towards the help that she needs, and gives her peace. I pray also that you will be granted peace and respite. May God's Will be done.

There are domestic violence hotlines that you can call for guidance about your situation in your town. This can be used as proof that you are suffering from abuse.

Not sure of all the issues but God does not want us to suffer at another person’s hands!

I pray for God’s intervention over your situation, bring safety and protection. I pray He strengthens you and cause you to have a closer walk with Him. I also Pray for your wife as God knows the situation.

I pray that she pays a steep price for her treatment of you. I pray for retribution, not reconciliation.

A follow up message: just so it doesn't look like I'm trolling. I really believe prayers for reconciliation where there is a pattern of abuse are inappropriate and insulting to the victim. I don't want reconciliation for this man's marriage. I want that woman to get what she deserves. And may it be severe.

Abusers rarely change. And when they do, it's only for a moment to hide their evil.
