Brother, happy Sabbath, which started this Friday December 2, 2022 at 9:34 am EST! Yes! That is what James and the others decided in the first counsel of the church in Jerusalem: to let the Gentiles who are turning to God adapt Moses without troubling them with the human traditions of Judaism that Jesus was against.

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either. “What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are! “Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! For you say that it means nothing to swear ‘by God’s Temple,’ but that it is binding to swear ‘by the gold in the Temple.’ Blind fools! Which is more important—the gold or the Temple that makes the gold sacred? And you say that to swear ‘by the altar’ is not binding, but to swear ‘by the gifts on the altar’ is binding. How blind! For which is more important—the gift on the altar or the altar that makes the gift sacred? When you swear ‘by the altar,’ you are swearing by it and by everything on it. And when you swear ‘by the Temple,’ you are swearing by it and by God, who lives in it. And when you swear ‘by heaven,’ you are swearing by the throne of God and by God, who sits on the throne. (Matthew 23:13-22 NLT)

Instead of adapting Moses through Judaism, since Jesus was expected from the beginning, the Gentiles who are turning to God were allowed to adopt Moses on their own. This fulfills the words in the new covenant found in the following passage.

And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the LORD.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already. (Hebrews 8:11 NLT)

Brother, the examples given are human traditions in Judaism, but the lesson is that all human traditions are bad because we are "bling guides" and need to put our faith in Jesus who is not a "blind guide" to use laws to remove sin. Paul is against keeping the law in a way that defeats it's purpose to remove sin. For example, not pronouncing the name of God so as not to misuse His name. This human rule obeys the commandment but defeats the purpose of the commandment to remove sin that would otherwise be removed if they obeyed God instead of their own human rule. It is because sabotaging the law, not to remove sin is possible, that Paul is willing to abandon the focus on law and instead focus on sin. We grow through the practice, which Paul calls "slavery", when we "choose to obey" God in order to "become slaves to righteous living", thanks to Jesus' many forgivenesses, making us "pure, just as he is pure".

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is. (1 John 3:1-6 NLT)

How long we remain "pure, just as He is pure" takes practice as we "become slaves to righteous living" by choosing to "obey God" over our old ways. What makes this growth through practice possible is the many forgivenesses of our High Priest Jesus, accomplishing what the law does not permit, growth through practice, like a child who learns to walk by getting up again and again until he no longer falls.

Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living. (Romans 6:15-18 NLT)

Okay, so the gentiles in Acts 15 were to keep all of the laws free from human traditions. What was it you were saying earlier, then, about James allowing for slow growth?

Brother, the Holy Spirit has been growing us slowly to understand the Sabbath. It has used our human tradition of Sunday to resist the human tradition of Saturday in Judaism. The Sabbath was separated from the week when God made His rest "holy" at creation, fixing His "rest" in the time zone of creation. This truth of not growing us faster than we can "bear" is expressed by Jesus in the following passage.

I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. (John 16:12-14 NIV)

We know what is written is correct but our interpretation of it can be colored by our human traditions preventing us from seeing the full truth.

When they had finished, James stood and said, “Brothers, listen to me. Peter has told you about the time God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people for himself. And this conversion of Gentiles is exactly what the prophets predicted. As it is written: ‘Afterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David. I will rebuild its ruins and restore it, so that the rest of humanity might seek the LORD, including the Gentiles—all those I have called to be mine. The LORD has spoken—he who made these things known so long ago.’ “And so my judgment is that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood. For these laws of Moses has been preached in Jewish synagogues in every city on every Sabbath for many generations.” (Acts 15:13-21 NLT fixed)

Even Paul was unaware of how Judaism's human tradition colored the Sabbath, preventing us who are living away from Jerusalem from entering the Sabbath as God prevented Israel during the 40 years in the desert from entering the Sabbath by "oath" with Manna as punishment for their disobedience.

God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it. For this good news—that God has prepared this rest—has been announced to us just as it was to them. But it did them no good because they didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said, “In my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest,’” even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. We know it is ready because of the place in the Scriptures where it mentions the seventh day: “On the seventh day God rested from all his work.” But in the other passage God said, “They will never enter my place of rest.” (Hebrews 4:1-5 NLT)

We learn from Paul's written inspiration that the Sabbath in Judaism is tainted by human tradition without Paul understanding his inspired written correction of Judaism's tradition of the Sabbath for us to correct the Sabbath after him.

So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today. God announced this through David much later in the words already quoted: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts.” Now if Joshua had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. (Hebrews 4:6-11 NLT)

For example, the Holy Spirit has been patient in helping us understand the Sabbath, as our history shows. Our church wanted to keep the Sabbath from morning to morning because of what they understood in Genesis, which was resisted by what others understood God said in the Promised Land. Our prophetess's first vision confirmed morning to morning for the Sabbath was wrong because of what God had said for the Promised Land. Then the Holy Spirit waited for eight years for us to study the word of God, debating the matter until her second vision confirmed our conclusion on the meaning of the word "evening" as the setting of the sun. It seems the church was tired of the matter and stopped studying after that when the angel had told her there was more to understand in the future. We still have not understood the Sabbath! Not even with the help of our prophetess, because God wanted us to learn it from the Bible.

I saw that it is even so: “From even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath.” Said the angel: “Take the word of God, read it, understand, and ye cannot err. Read carefully, and ye shall there find what even is, and when it is.” I asked the angel if the frown of God had been upon His people for commencing the Sabbath as they had. I was directed back to the first rise of the Sabbath, and followed the people of God up to this time, but did not see that the Lord was displeased, or frowned upon them. I inquired why it had been thus, that at this late day we must change the time of commencing the Sabbath. Said the angel: “Ye shall understand, but not yet, not yet.” Said the angel: “If light come, and that light is set aside or rejected, then comes condemnation and the frown of God; but before the light comes, there is no sin, for there is no light for them to reject.” I saw that it was in the minds of some that the Lord had shown that the Sabbath commenced at six o'clock, when I had only seen that it commenced at “even,” and it was inferred that even was at six. I saw that the servants of God must draw together, press together. (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, Page 116)

Okay, so it sounds like the four laws in Acts 15 are the first ones to not be "colored by our human traditions preventing us from seeing the full truth."

What is the next law after that to not be colored? Or is the Sabbath the next law?

Brother, getting the Sabbath right will free the word of God from "myths", helping us pay more attention to what is written.

I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom: Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:1-8 NLT)

I believe this truth will break the dam of "myths" we have built up to resist Jesus' will to separate sin from our flesh. Circumcision is now done by Jesus and is no longer done by humans.

When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcisionthe cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. (Colossians 2:11-12 NLT)

The purpose of the law is to show our sin and remove it when obeyed. Jesus' many forgivenesses as our High Priest through His death make it possible to grow through a practice that Paul calls "slavery" in obedience to His law. Freedom from our "slavery to sin" already began when we first believed that Jesus' daily forgiveness removes our past sins as many times as we need to grow in obedience to Jesus' Eleven Commandments in the following passage.

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother.’” The man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” When Jesus heard his answer, he said, “There is still one thing you haven’t done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Luke 18:18-22 NLT)

We grow in obedience to Jesus' Eleven Commandments above through practice that Paul calls "slavery", thanks to our High Priest Jesus' daily forgiveness cycle. Like a child who learns to walk by getting up again and again until he no longer falls.

Okay, so... In Acts 15, the apostles and elders give four laws that are not colored by human tradition. And since then there has not been a single law that has not been colored by human tradition?

Brother, there is a popular myth that Paul is against obeying God's Ten Commandments when Paul is against keeping the Ten Commandments in a way that defeats its purpose: the purpose of the Ten Commandments is to remove sin when obeyed. Judaism invented their own rules that sabotaged God's Ten Commandments to not remove sin. For example, the human rule of not pronouncing God's name so as not to misuse His name. This obeyed the Ten Commandments but it sabotaged the Ten Commandments to not remove sin that would otherwise be removed if we obeyed what God actually asked instead of our own human rule.

Because such sabotage was possible, Paul took the focus off of obeying the law and put it on removing sin, which keeps the Ten Commandments while protecting it from sabotage which leads to death because of the sin not removed. Humans have used Paul to remove all of God's Ten Commandments to not remove sin in what Peter describes as the error of these "lawless" people in the following passage.

And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him— speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstable have twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their destruction. You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these lawless (athesmos) people and lose your own secure footing. Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:15-18 NLT fixed)

What these "lawless" people do not realize is that Paul does not remove the Ten Commandments by focusing on sin, because the Ten Commandments remove sin when obeyed. The only other way to remove sin is through Jesus' many forgivenesses, whose purpose is to give us as many chances as we need to grow through practice in obedience to the Eleven Commandments. A practice that Paul calls slavery. For example, learning through practice not to misuse God's name without sabotaging God's Eleven Commandments, to not remove sin by human rule, to not pronounce God's name at all. Paul's focus on sin rather than law prevents the human sabotage of God's Eleven Commandments to not remove sin.

Brother, may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Right, we want to obey all of the laws that we are supposed to. Now, after the four laws in Acts, what were the next laws to be not colored by human tradition? Or have there been any? Have there been any until the Sabbath starting at sunset in Jerusalem?

Brother, the end result of what James understood "the prophets predicted" is that we will adopt Judaism without all of the human traditions. This is what "restore the fallen house of David" would look like, as we adapt Moses hearing his writings read every Sabbath instead of the early church forcing all of Judaism on us with its human traditions through circumcision.

Okay... adopting Judaism without all of the human traditions sounds like it would involve keeping some laws.

After the four laws in Acts 15, then, what was the next law that the gentiles were told to adopt?

Brother, no order of adoption was provided for Moses. As they should, the Gentiles turning to God have adopted which animals to eat and not eat and other things such as tithing. We have yet to adapt the feasts showing all of God's plan of salvation to completely "restore the fallen house of David".

When they had finished, James stood and said, “Brothers, listen to me. Peter has told you about the time God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people for himself. Most denominations have not lived up to the expectations of James at the council in Jerusalem. According to the Ten Commandments before Jesus, the Gentiles who are turning to God are more sinful and less righteous than Judaism with its sabotage of God's Ten Commandments to not remove sin, which leads to death because of the sin being not removed. The Seventh-day Adventist church is the closest denomination today to what James expected and once we break our plateau with the correction of the Sabbath, we will continue to grow after our prophetess is no longer with us in understanding all of God's word. Recall that we are composed of people from many denominations who accepted William Miller's recognition of the completion of the 2300-year prophecy within his lifetime. So far, what we have been able to adapt from Moses, as a community of many denominational backgrounds, has been blessed by God through our prophetess.

“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. “But I warn you—unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven! Okay... I thought you had talked about a system of prophets after the council in Acts 15 that would restore the fallen house of David, which is what I assume adopting Judaism means. Did I misunderstand that?

Brother, how God worked through our prophetess showed what God wants is for us to study the Bible because our prophetess served as a catalyst to more quickly adapt what was learned through Bible study. Her role mainly confirmed what we were finding in the Bible. She did not correct us, but God waited for us to be corrected by the Bible. Her husband, James White, summarizes her role in unifying us in our study of the Bible in the following article.

It is generally known to most of the readers of the Review, that for several years in the early history of Seventh-day Adventists, believers adopted six o'clock p.m. as the time for the Sabbath to commence and close. It is also known that in the autumn of 1855, the Review taught that sunset was the Bible time to commence the Sabbath, and that our people generally changed from six o'clock to sunset. Some of the circumstances connected with this change I wish here to state:
  1. The six o'clock time was called in question by a portion of the believers as early as 1847, some maintaining that the Sabbath commenced at sunrise, while others claimed Bible evidence in favor of sunset.
  2. Elder Joseph Bates, who was the first to teach the Sabbath in its importance, and faithfully labor to bring out a people from among the Adventists to observe it, was very decided upon the question, and respect for his years, and his godly life, might have been among the reasons why this point was not sooner investigated as thoroughly as some other points.
  3. In the autumn of 1855, Elder J. N. Andrews called on me at Battle Creek, on his way to Iowa, and set before me the scriptural reasons for commencing the Sabbath at sunset. He had written a clear article upon the subject, which he left with me, and which appeared in the Review for December 4, 1855. This article, however, before it appeared in the Review was read at the Conference at Battle Creek about that time, and the subject was discussed, resulting in settling the minds of the brethren on the sunset-time, with the exception of Brother Bates, and a few others. Since that time there has been general agreement among us upon the subject.
But there are persons who seek to injure us as a people and this class we hope to help by this article who report and publish to the world that Mrs. White did profess to be shown that the time to commence the Sabbath was six o'clock, and that at a later period she was shown that sunset was the true time. It is also stated that in vision she saw the dial-plate of a clock with one hand pointing to the 6, and other to 12, showing that six o'clock was the commencement and close of the Sabbath.

A simple statement of the facts in the case are sufficient to show these reports false. Hence we give the following statements, which we are ready to prove by most competent witnesses:
  1. Mrs. White has in two visions been shown something in regard to the time of the commencement of the Sabbath. The first was as early as 1847, at Topsham, Main. In the vision she was shown that to commence the Sabbath at sunrise was wrong. She then heard an angel repeat these words, "From even unto even shall ye celebrate your Sabbaths." Brother Bates was present and succeeded in satisfying all present that "even" was six o'clock. Mark this: The vision at Topsham did not teach the six o'clock time. It only corrected sunrise time. I never received the idea that the six o'clock time was sustained by the visions, hence the following which I copy from a statement I made in the Review upon the subject, December 4, 1855, as follows:
    • “We have never been fully satisfied with the testimony presented in favor of six o'clock, while the various communications received for a few years past advocating both sunrise and sunset time, have been almost destitute of argument, and the spirit of humility and candor. The subject has troubled us, yet we have never found time to thoroughly investigate it.
    • “In June, 1854, we urged Elder D. P. Hall to prepare an article on the subject for the Review. When with him in Pennsylvania, last winter, we repeated the request. When in Maine, last summer, we stated our feelings on this subject to Brother Andrews, and have fears of division unless the question could be settled by good testimony. He decided to devote his time to the subject till he ascertained what the Bible taught in regard to it, and his article in this number is the result of his investigation. Some have the impression that six o'clock time has been taught among us by the direct manifestation of the Holy Spirit. This is a mistake; ‘From even unto even’ was the teaching from which six o'clock time has been inferred.”
  2. In regard to the clock-face, twenty competent witnesses are ready to testify that neither Mrs. White nor her visions had anything to do with it whatever. When at Rocky Hill, Conn., in 1849, at a meeting on the Sabbath at the house of Brother Albert Belden, the time to commence the Sabbath was agitated. A brother present in whose spiritual exercises there was great confidence, seemed to be very powerfully exercised, and, amid groans and tears, he called for the chalk, and marked out upon the floor the figure of a clock face, the hands pointing out six o'clock. A general impression prevailed that this was the work of the Spirit of God; but Mrs. White had nothing to do with it whatever.
  3. At the close of the conference at Battle Creek referred to above, the ministers and others, especially interested in the cause had a special season of prayer for the prosperity of the cause, and in that meeting Mrs. White had a vision, one item of which was that sun set time was correct. This settled the matter with Brother Bates and others, and general harmony has since prevailed among us upon this point.
But the question naturally arises, If the visions are given to correct the erring, why did she not sooner see the error of the six o'clock time? For one I have ever been thankful that God corrected the error in his own good time, and did not suffer an unhappy division to exist among us upon the point. But, dear reader, the work of the Lord upon this point is in perfect harmony with his manifestations to us on others, and in harmony with the correct position upon spiritual gifts.

It does not appear to be the desire of the Lord to teach his people by the gifts of the Spirit on the Bible questions until his servants have diligently searched his word. When this was done upon the subject of time to commence the Sabbath, and most were established, and some were in danger of being out of harmony with the body on this subject, then, yes, then, was the very time for God to magnify his goodness in the manifestation of the gift of his Spirit in the accomplishment of its proper work.

The sacred Scriptures are given us as the rule of faith and duty, and we are commanded to search them. If we fail to understand and fully obey the truths in consequences of not searching the Scriptures as we should, or a want of consecration and spiritual discernment, and God in mercy in his own time corrects us by some manifestation of the gifts of his Holy Spirit, instead of murmuring that he did not do it before, let us humbly acknowledge his mercy, and praise him for his infinite goodness in condescending to correct us at all.

Let the gifts have their proper place in the church. God has never set them in the very front, and commanded us to look to them to lead us in the path of truth, and the way to Heaven. His word he has magnified. The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are man's lamp to light up his path to the kingdom. Follow that. But if you err from Bible truth, and are in danger of being lost, it may be that God will in time of his choice correct you, and bring you back to the Bible and save you. And would it become you in such a case to murmur and say, “Lord, why didst thou not do this before?” Take care! “Be still, and know that I am God.” Our necessity is his opportunity to teach us by the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

Brother, may the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

So... In the system of prophets that was restoring the fallen House of David by helping gentiles to adopt Judaism that was not colored by human tradition, who was the last prophet prior to White?

Brothers and sisters, happy Sabbath that begins this Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:34 am EDT! Here is the passage that gives us an Eleventh Commandment with the phrase "one thing" that you have not done, after answering the question with: you know "the commandments". Jesus' answer makes the "one thing" you haven't done an additional commandment. Consistent with us knowing the additional commandment in the new covenant of following Jesus' example.

The new Eleventh Commandment was not possible before Jesus, as we could not have "followed" the example of Jesus' life before His arrival, allowing us to "surpass" the glory of the previous Ten Commandments by Jesus' example, as superior to commandments given without an exemplary life to follow. Judaism sabotaged God's commandments by adding their own laws in a "human effort", as in the story of Hagar, to fulfill God's promise of separating sin from our character thanks to the cycle of forgiveness of our High Priest in the temple in heaven.

He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant (Eleven Commandments). This is a covenant not of written laws (Ten Commandments), but of the Spirit (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus). The old written covenant ends in death (sabotaged by human effort as in the story of Hagar); but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus). The old way, with laws etched in stone (Ten Commandments), led to death (sabotaged by human effort as in the story of Hagar), though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way (Eleven Commandments), now that the Holy Spirit is giving life (reminding us to follow the exemplary life of Jesus)? If the old way (Ten Commandments), which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way (Eleven Commandments), which makes us right with God! In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way (Eleven Commandments). So if the old way (Ten Commandments), which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new (Eleven Commandments), which remains forever! (2 Corinthians 3:6-11 NLT)

Sorry Gorge, the command to the leader was not an any way a command for all to keep. The real fact of the command we are to keep is found in Jesus following words and doesn't include the ten commandments given only to Israel.

Jn15:9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

Paul wrote in Eph2 the following words: 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,

I see the correlation of the two verses and wonder why you and others seem not to see the verses support each other. The commands Jesus kept as a Jew was the law found in the old covenant. He didn't tell us to keep the Father's law, He asked us to keep His Law of Love. In Eph 2 we find that the Jews have been released from the Law by Jesus. The Gentiles didn't have the law and the Jews failed to keep it. Jesus' solution was to set the law aside by destroying it because it was THE barrier. I had to set aside my preconceived beliefs in order to accept the real truth of the Holy Writ.

I believe what you are trying to teach is diametrically opposed to what God has given us in His Holy Writ.

Jesus' solution was to set the law aside by destroying it because it was THE barrier.
Brother, Jesus tells us the barrier came from Judaism's human traditions that do not remove sin leading to death because of the sin not being removed by "blind guides" and the barrier did not come from God, who is not a blind guide to use the Ten Commandments to remove sin.

Paul tells us that Judaism's "human effort", as in the story of Hagar, was the barrier that did not remove sin and not the law of God that does remove sin.

Tell me, you who want to live under the law, do you know what the law actually says (what is sin)? The Scriptures say that Abraham had two sons, one from his slave wife and one from his freeborn wife. The son of the slave wife was born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God’s promise. But the son of the freeborn wife was born as God’s own fulfillment of his promise. These two women serve as an illustration of God’s two covenants. The first woman, Hagar, represents Mount Sinai where people received the law that enslaved them. And now Jerusalem is just like Mount Sinai in Arabia, because she and her children live in slavery to the law (added by the translators when it refers to slavery to sin). But the other woman, Sarah, represents the heavenly Jerusalem. She is the free woman, and she is our mother. As Isaiah said, “Rejoice, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into a joyful shout, you who have never been in labor! For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband!” And you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac. But you are now being persecuted by those who want you to keep the law, just as Ishmael, the child born by human effort, persecuted Isaac, the child born by the power of the Spirit. But what do the Scriptures say about that? “Get rid of the slave and her son, for the son of the slave woman will not share the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” So, dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman; we are children of the free woman. (Galatians 4:21-31 NLT)

The "human effort" of Judaism's sabotage of God's Ten Commandments to not remove sin, which leads to death because of the sin not being removed, is the barrier. For example, Judaism invented its own "human effort" to not pronounce the name of God so as not to misuse His name. This "human effort" by Judaism to obey the Ten Commandments, sabotaged the Ten Commandments to not remove sin, sin that would otherwise be removed if they did what God asked instead of replacing what He asked with their own "human effort". Paul protects the Ten Commandments from sabotage by focusing on sin rather than law. Sin is only removed when we obey what God asks instead of finding our own way to obey the law that does not remove sin.

In the system of prophets that was restoring the fallen House of David by helping gentiles to adopt Judaism that was not colored by human tradition, who was the last prophet prior to White? United in discussing the scriptures in an edifying way!
Brother, according to James we only need to hear Moses every Sabbath to "restore the fallen house of David". James makes no mention of the need for additional prophets to "restore the fallen house of David".

The prophet before White was Paul! The truth of the Sabbath in God's word, not understood by Judaism since Joshua, not even by Paul or White during their lifetime, but present in their inspired writings, verifies that Paul and White are prophets. Prophets who told us things that were to be understood in the future, like Daniel, who also did not understand his message for the future. Paul tells us in the next passage that we will keep another "day" of rest in the future, correcting human tradition in Judaism since Joshua. This help from God in rescuing the Sabbath from human tradition does not mean that we must wait for prophets to adopt Moses to "restore the fallen house of David". James expected us to adopt Moses just by listening to Moses every Sabbath. We did not adopt from Moses for our prophetess, she only confirmed the truths that we were already finding in the Bible to adopt more quickly as we studied more.

The gentiles could only hear Moses, but not read the law? It seems like if they could read it, they would know the laws they were to keep in a few days at the most.

Then it was up to each individual gentile to hear Moses read every Sabbath and then begin following the laws as they hear them?
