If proper English is important to you, it would be best to use what we've been taught in school. A man is a "he", not a "their".
Are you actually going to address my point? Or is the whole point of this thread is simply to demonstrate the amount of disdain you have for non-binary folk?

There's not a man I meet but doth salute me
As if I were their well-acquainted friend

Anyone can check their New York Times Manual of Style and Usage.

Any mental gymnastics to avoid calling a man a "he" or "him".....
It's fun to watch! Maybe it will someday become an Olympic event.

Gymnastics? It's literally the lowest hurdle to refer to people as they wish to be addressed. No avoidance is required -- I (and many other men) prefer to be addressed as he/him.

Sure I did, that Sam Brinton's office has nothing to do with the actual handling of nuclear material and thus this isn't the big national security issue you were trying to make it out to be.

I'm pretty sure the woman who had her suitcase stolen by "him" wish that "he" didn't do that, but that fact is being ignored to make brinton sound like the real victim here, which he is not.

Not that I've seen. So far we all seem content that they're relieved of their duties until this matter is settled.

But yes, we've pointed out your inability to be polite, something even the NY Post managed in the OP.

What you refer to as "polite" is better-known as "politically correct". I prefer accuracy.

That's what I say when i fart loudly at the dinner table.

I always tell my guests that "politeness" is just a term invented by Big Fart to repress us.

Look, "they" tends to hit the ear weird when used to refer to a singular person; but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to make an effort to use a desired pronoun.

Can we get back to the person in question and ponder whether what they did was intentional, and what ramification may or should come about from it?
