I was careless with my Cold and hurt someone

I went on an outdoor hike that ended at a restaurant, I foolishly entered at the end of the day and got one of my new friends sick.

She now cannot visit her family for Thanksgiving because she is sick, and the Guilt is tearing me apart.

I don't know what to do, or how I can ever make it up to her. I know how much she misses them.

I found out by some miracle that they are not in fact sick. I don't understand how they aren't but, I'll take it!
