Grassley says new whistleblower info reveals 'deeply rooted political infection' within the FBI

"Starting on May 31, 2022, I’ve written three letters to you regarding political bias that has infected the FBI’s Washington Field Office," Grassley, R-Iowa, writes. "Two of those letters provided specific and credible allegations based on numerous whistleblowers that have approached my office with information that one can only conclude is indicative of a deeply rooted political infection that has spread to investigative activity into former President Trump and Hunter Biden."

Whistleblowers revealed widespread FBI misconduct ahead of Trump raid

Prior to the FBI's raid Monday on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, a string of whistleblower reports alleged that senior officials at the FBI exhibited a pattern of bias in their handling of politically sensitive investigations and also reclassified cases without justification to substantiate the White House's public narratives on crime and extremism.

Beginning in late May, Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley called attention to then-Washington Field Office Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault over political bias concerns. Thibault expressed support for several "highly partisan" opinion articles on LinkedIn and made a series of politically charged social media posts, according to Grassley, who referred Thibault to the Office of Special Counsel to address the federal agent's potential violations of the Hatch Act, which bars government officials from partisan political activity.

Oh goodie, another round of “let’s investigate the investigators!”

Whistle Blowers expositing Trump = truth being spoken to power.
Whistle Blowers exposing the DOJ - not truth speaking to power.

Interesting.

I am sure that the credibility of these whistleblowers has been evaluated.

Whistleblower observations may not be credible.

As far as allegations of bias goes, when one individual has so many alleged abuses, violations, and downright crimes that it makes one's head spin just to think about it and another individual, a relative of the current president who has never held nor currently holds any appointed or elected position, is accused of one violation, is it really biased if the individual who has so many alleged abuses it makes one's head spin to receive much more attention than any other person being investigated for lesser reasons?

Barack Obama and the Weaponization of Government Agencies for starters.
Anything specific or just a generalized distrust of anything the not-completely-white President did?

Nothing new. It has been a problem for decades.

Anything specific or just a generalized distrust..

More worried about Barack Obamas past Marxist influence, and
the way he transformed America, then the color of his skin.

Barack Obama admitted in his book he was deeply influenced by Frank Marshall
Davis, who joined the Communist Party USA, and the American Peace Mobilization
group. Congress identified it as a notorious and blatantly Communist front.

Frank Marshall Davis "I worked with all kinds of groups. I made no distinction
between those labeled Communist, Socialist or merely liberal. My sole criterion
was this: ‘Are you with me in my determination to wipe out white supremacy?’”
Frank Marshall Davis - Wikipedia

22) "To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully.
The more politically active black students. The foreign students.
The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists ....
...it remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your
loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names." -- Barack Obama

You will know them by there fruits
-

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified critical
documents exposing the fact that the Steele dossier and the plot against
Donald Trump traced all the way up to top officials in the Obama admin-
istration— including President Barack Obama himself.

This reveals an absolutely unprecedented level of corruption, for starters.

the not-completely-white President

So pull the so called race card, was it Obama who thinks
all white people are racist, they just don't know it yet.

:) Hey OP you ever notice with "whistleblower" or some "anonymous" come forward against the right or president Trump.. OH MY its news! The left go nuts. But when its about the left.. doors close no one wants to talk about it. If you do.. name calling always pops up. Just can't talk why you simply disagree. Never personal yet.. so many here make it personal. No offense

I wonder whether being hounded by a future president and the conservative media for years about his "Kenyan birth," a complete lie concocted and promulgated by Trump and believed by all his followers had anything to do with it.

Or his wife's looks being compared to a gorillas, despite her topping the most admired woman list for years.

President Obama never received an apology, although, when cornered for the hundredth time Trump admitted, obtusely, that Obama might really have been born in Hawaii.

How in the world could Obama have been concerned about racism and white supremacy?

Sadly, many people believe the 2016 election had a huge backlash vote of those who were angry about Obama's election. They believe it unleashed racism that had been simmering under the surface for years.

I'd have thought they'd have at least waited until Donald's voter fraud investigation released the list of the millions of illegal voters they claimed existed ... what ever happened to that, anyway?

hmm
FBI -- IRS targeting conservative groups
FBI -- cooperating with Russia hoax and falsifying Pfizer documents
FBI -- worthless assault on General Flynn
FBI -- claiming to have "insurance" against Trump being elected?

Who would think that there was anything like a "political infection" going on??

Some misdeads harder to expose than others meanwhile we do have this

1. Highest number of votes for any incumbent president.
2. Sleepy opposition candidate uses the strategy of hunkering down in basement for last two months of the election since he is unnable to get more than a handful of voters to his rallies. Relies on apparatus methods to "get votes" instead.

I'd add

0. Historically unpopular incumbent in the middle of a deadly pandemic
0.5. No evidence of any voter fraud has been uncovered in the 5 (6?) years since the people claiming it have started their whining about it, including failing to even claim it was a thing in court (you know, where there are actual penalties for lying).

I'd imagine a similar theme in the eventual outcome of the politically motivated accusations in the OP.

Martin Van Buren pulled this off in 1840 and still lost. Herbert Hoover did it himself in 1932. A higher voter turn out from previous years along with a larger number of eligible voters due to population gain make this scenario very possible.

Rallies attendance has no bearing on actual votes. Biden voters actually have jobs and can’t just wander the country following their candidate around like a rock band. Biden voters make their vote and move on with their lives. The rallies are all sizzle and no steak. Votes are what matter, not rally attendance.
