The Bible tells us that when we put our complete trust in God, He will take care of our every need. Of course, this is much easier said than done. The enemy of God works day and night to destroy our trust in God by pushing us in all the wrong directions. For that reason, we often lose sight of the awesome power of God. When this happens, our best course of action is to spend some time in prayer thanking God for all the past blessings in our lives. When we look back on all that God has done for us, we can restore our trust and once again receive His blessing.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8

Trust and Obey

We have to keep in mind that God will only meet our needs if we first trust and obey His instruction. In addition, our needs may not be the same as our desire. The enemy is constantly telling us we need far more than is necessary. This is the devil’s distraction. On the other hand, God is completely aware of precisely what we need. “Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” (Matthew 6:8) When we seek first His kingdom, we can be certain he will fulfill His promise to look after us.

There isn’t anything going on in our lives that God can’t deal with. Nothing is too far gone that God can’t restore it fully. No problem is beyond God’s power to resolve. As a result, we can find peace when we place our trust in God. “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) We can’t let the devil distract us with worldly solutions to spiritual problems. If we are sincerely trusting the Lord with our problems, we know from past experience He will provide the appropriate response at just the right moment in time. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8) God is always faithful and never misses a chance to bless those who are walking in step with Him.

God is Good

We can’t lose sight of the fact that everything of value in our lives comes from God. All of our basic needs, all of our material wealth, all of our loving relationships; everything that has real meaning in our lives comes from God. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17) There is no reason for us to expect others to meet our needs when we understand that ultimately all of our blessings come from God.

Praise God for Sending His Son

Genuine faith is complete trust in God. Even when things seem to be going in the wrong direction, it is our faith in Jesus Christ that insures us that God is with us, guiding our steps through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. God sent his Son to die on our behalf, demonstrating beyond any doubt that He will do whatever it takes to meet our needs. “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-7)

Finding Peace

God is delighted to take on the full responsibility of meeting all of our needs as long as we place our undivided trust in Him. When we push this world aside and ignore the temptations of the enemy, we can find peace in knowing that God will meet our needs far beyond our expectations. When we surrender to God fully, He reacts to that devotion by going to work on our behalf. Nothing is more powerful than the awesome hand of God guiding our lives toward a peace that transcends all understanding. There is no greater love.

This is completely true, trusting God definitely does bring peace! I have found this out for my self. I have survived a heart attack and two strokes. There second stroke was quite a serious one and has left me crippled. It was a very frightening situation and I did not know wether I would live, or die. Who can you trust in that situation? There is only one and that is God Himself.

My I.D. on this forum is no accident. I have chosen to trust in Him all the days of my life and there's no going back. Period!

Some people post so much stuff that after a while you don't even bother to open it or look at it when it shows up in your inbox, but I have to say that this post of yours here is absolutely wonderful and as someone who has walked with Jesus for 40 plus years I have to say you are right on target completely and totally on target.

Bravo well done!
