I doubt any of us will be alive when it happens. The Kingdom grows slowly and we are very far off from it happening. But I am praying for my great great grandchildren.

As we have more Christians, society will improve. And the justice system will be better. Fewer jail sentences for theft. Restitution+ will be the rule. And murderers will be put to death.

That doesn’t help me sleep at night. I rarely think about it. However, I try not to misrepresent other’s views because it means that I’m more interested the discussion than I am in winning. I mean really, when you beat a straw man, what have you accomplished? I guess you might have something to tell your buddies that also think the straw man is true.

Also (and this is a classic example), when you straw man the other person’s argument, you are off the hook for any evidence. All you need to do then is tell the other guy he is dodging when he says that you’ve misrepresented him.
