Excluding the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Some folks believe that Jesus Christ set aside all but the TEN COMMANDMENTS when He fulfilled the Law. They do not believe that the TEN COMMANDMENTS were part of the Law as understood by Jesus and the apostles. Thus, they believe that only the TEN COMMANDMENTS remain to be kept by Christians and none of the other commandments of the Old Testament. Thus, they apparently believe that minor things such as sodomy, incest, and fornication are of no real interest to God, but that adultery is a major sin because it is the only sexual sin listed in the TEN COMMANDMENTS.
Sorry you don't seem to understand the role of the Ten Commandments and what Jesus said about them, He came to magnify God's law Isaiah 42:21 and it starts with our thoughts. Matthew 5:19-30 All of those things you listed is under the commandment for adultery, Pretty much any wrong-doing has an umbrella under God's perfect law.

Did you know the God's Testimony, Ten Commandments was written by God's own finger Exodus 31:18 spoken by God's own voice Exodus 20, was placed in the ark of the covenant in the Most Holy of God's Temple that is also revealed in heaven Revelation 11:19 Do you really think God is going to be okay with people in heaven keeping the commandments they feel like keeping and when everyone else gathers to worship Him on His holy Sabbath day in the New heaven and New Earth, Isaiah 66:22-23- you telling Him, no thanks this is too outdated for me to keep.

The Sabbath is not from the nineteenth century it was from the very beginning of time Genesis 2:1-3 God's perfect plan before sin, that man would worship God on His holy day Isaiah 58:13, Exodus 20:10 in His presence, which is exactly how it will be once everything is restored. God's will for us in heaven is not different for us now on earth.

If you don't want to worship God on His holy Sabbath day now, what makes you think you will all of a sudden want to in heaven? God loves each of us so much He will never force us to worship Him. We are called to worship Him in Truth and Spirit John 4:23-24 and not worship in vain by placing man's ways over the commandments of God Matthew 15:3-9.

The saints keep the commandments of God and faith in Jesus Revelation 14:12. I can only speak for myself, but I want to be one of His saints.

The reality, of course, is that what you do on Saturdays hardly resembles what the Israelites did on Saturdays or even what Orthodox Jews today do. What you do is engage in nineteenth-century American Protestant religious activities. Do you believe that is what God had in mind on Mount Sinai?

Wrong-doing is variously defined around the world. In Singapore spitting on the street is a serious offense. Do you believe that spitting on the street is prohibited by the TEN COMMANDMENTS? Which commandment states, "Thou shalt not spit on the street."?

Hmmmm, only God is all-knowing so not sure how you would know what I do since I don’t know you and have never met you.

We are not judged based on what others do or don’t do, we are judged based on our own actions.

To me, only God Word matters and His righteousness, which is entirely different than the rules made of by different countries. But if one is in Christ they would do no harm to their neighbor.

Enjoy your opinion and have a great day.
The facts of the post you responded to stand. Why not recant? You can’t kick against the pricks the rest of your life. Sadly there are repercussions for the false teaching that you share. God does not like when we add to His Word or take away from it. The fact that Romans 14 does not mention the Sabbath is not an opinion it is a fact.

Well, let me ask you exactly how a typical Saturday goes for you? Do you stay in bed all day and rest according to the commandment?

I am not aware that I am arguing. Please forgive me if I have conveyed that impression. I have been asking specific questions and have not been receiving any direct answers in return.

Is wrong-doing in a foreign country not wrong-doing in another country? How is one to determine what wrong-doing actually entails if it is not addressed at all in the TEN COMMANDMENTS? Would you like another example?

No what you are doing, since you can’t argue against the truths presented to you here. Is state that none one here is keeping the Sabbath as God intended so what’s the point.

Exodus 20 tells what type of work we are not to do. And Isaiah 58 gives us further insight.

Sorry you do not understand the Sabbath commandment, which has nothing to do with being lazy and everything to do about honoring God.

I don't think you're interested in an honest discussion, so I am going to end it with that I wish you well in seeking His Word.

As I recall, the Egyptians accused the Hebrews of being lazy because Moses and Aaron requested some time off from brickmaking.

Is resting laziness?

Resting in bed all day on the Sabbath is lazy (unless sick) what we should be doing is resting in Christ by worshipping Him by reading His Word, going to Church, studying scripture, prayer, taking nature hikes and appreciating all that He has created for us on His holy Sabbath day. The Sabbath is about communion with our Savior. It’s the best day of the week, you can put aside all your worries and troubles and just focus on Jesus and in return you are blessed, spiritually blessed. Isaiah 58:13-14

It’s late my time, so I am signing off.

God bless.

The Sabbath was given to one nation, Israel. They were commanded to rest on that day. The people of every other nation rested when they felt the need. Our bodies tell us when we are tired mentally and physically and need refreshing. Under the new and better covenant all mankind can choose when we need to take time off from work and refresh our bodies.

Questions for all you that feel you need to keep a command, Sabbath, given only to Israel.

Why didn't God ever tell anyone else they had to rest on a certain day?

Why isn't the Sabbath command to rest not found in the new and better covenant Jesus gave all mankind at Calvary?

Why, where the word commandments are used in the New Testament, never is the word ten used with commandments yet Sabbath observers tell us that is what the writers meant?

All the laws were given to Israel- does that mean you can worship other gods or vain His name?

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Israel is just a name God gave His people.

This is God’s New Covenant promise, that Jesus is the Mediator of. I would not want to write myself out of God’s covenant promise.

God never made a covenant with the Gentiles, but if we are in Christ there is no more Jew or Gentile, we are one through faith. Galatians 3:26-29

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man. Mark 2:27

man,
ἄνθρωπον (anthrōpon)
Noun - Accusative Masculine Singular
Strong's 444: A man, one of the human race. From aner and ops; man-faced, i.e. A human being.

The Sabbath is made for humans!

and humans were created on the sixth day Genesis 1:26 before Jew or Gentile and before the very first Sabbath in the presence of God and before sin. Genesis 2:1-3

When we are restored back to God’s perfect plan, the Sabbath continues to be the day of worship for “all flesh” in the New Heaven and New Earth Isaiah 66:22-23 back in the presence of the Lord just like in the Garden of Eden because it is God’s perfect law. The Jews are not going to be the only ones who are saved because there is no Jew or Gentile if one is in Christ, through faith.

We are being called out of Babylon Revelation 14, our false teachings and we are told we need to worship Him in both Spirit and Truth. John 4:23-24. Jesus told us to not worship in vain by keeping the commandments of man over the commandments of God and quotes right from this covenant of Ten. Matthew 15:3-9, Exodus 34:28, Exodus 20. The Sabbath is a commandment of God and it is the holy day of the Lord thy God according to God Exodus 20:10, Isaiah 58:13 who not only wrote this with His own finger Exodus 31:18 He spoke it with His own voice and no man has the authority to change one of God’s commandments.

The ark of the covenant which holds the Testimony of God, written by His own finger on stone Exodus 31:18, in a covenant of Ten Exodus 34:28 placed in the Most Holy of God’s Temple which is revealed in heaven. Revelation 11:19 Is God really okay with those who make it to heaven only keeping nine of the Ten Commandments? I think one is deceiving themself here. God’s will for us in heaven is the same for us on this earth.
