Stephen makes some good points. Although I think Jesus did suffer briefly in Hell to at least only taste death. Then He preached...

I'd say Stephen Webb errs also because Jesus to be one of the inmates, would have to be in torment like them. But I am sure His reach to them, was from victory over their oppressor before their eyes. His light shone on them and He gave them an atmosphere. There was knowledge in the light. The light of men was among them, and they were given life, through the new sacrifice.
