How on earth can you stage a coup against an ex president? Or against one individual for that matter? What is it you imagine is being ‘couped’ here?
What is so difficult to understand about the actual reality of it?
1) Former president has boxes of classified government documents transferred to his private home.
2) After losing the election - and, here is the important part - no longer being president (is that clear?) he keeps all of this classified material in his house.
3) Given this kind of behaviour is not usual for government officials and given Trump’s refusal to simply return the government documents to the actual government, eventually, many months later the securing of these documents has to be legally enforced.
What is it you don’t get?

So far (six years), it appears to have been the left doing all the imagining with one ridiculous probe after another that apparently lacked any real substance. But, phobias like the Dems and some RINOs have are hard to cure though. Maybe Trump will help them with that when he gets back in office.

I suppose you are referring to the 'probes' that have led to numerous arrests and convictions? Trump is going to help with that how - by lying about it and pardoning the guilty?

I don’t really get what you’re on about with ‘phobias’ and dismissals of legitimate investigations as ‘ridiculous’ . It’s all a bit silly. If you have anything meaningful to say about it I’m all ears.

You should not count your chickens before they're hatched. Trump is not guaranteed a win in 2024 if he runs, also if he can run if he isn't in jail by then.

Did you get this information from what Trump has stated and do his actions back that statement up?
I have yet to see anything that would lead me to believe that. I did see a lot of lip service to pander to his Evagelical base though.
