Isaiah 50:
4
The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.
5 The Lord God has opened My ear;
And I was not rebellious,
Nor did I turn away.

Can this be your testimony in Christ?
Have you understood that by the Holy
Spirit you can speak as an oracle of God?
This must be pursued in the secret place
of your prayer closet. Ask, and you will receive.
The angel Gabriel informed Mary, the mother
of Jesus that "with God no word is without power". (Luke 1:37)
There is an anointing of the Word of God that can
be received in the place of humble and sincere prayer.

James 1:
5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

A broken and contrite heart is best, to avoid asking amiss.
Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
James 4:
1
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss
, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?
6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”

If you read in the scriptures something that a child of God
is able to do, seek it in prayer to minister to the saints, and
for the glory of His Name; and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

More and more every day do I see this, as it is shown to me, by God.
I keep my eyes open, and when there is an opportunity to affirm what is happening, I do.
When I can help, I do, with God's provision, and with the examples of the Saints who have gone before me.
When a word is needed, It is God who provides it: all I do is to open my mouth.
And that is where I am learning to leave it.
I don't argue, or "put in my two cents," because God's Word and His wisdom are sufficient.
( To do anything else would be like eating all of your own pie that you brought to the "pot luck" to share with others!)
