Still? :)

"...but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son..."
Heb 1:2

"Dear children, this is the last hour...we know it is the last hour"
1J 2:18

What's interesting is....how long have we been in the last days. Since we are talking technology, people that that the Y2K bug would mark the end of days. People were loosing their ever-loving minds that day.
There were many times before that, I think I read somewhere that when it was approaching the year 1000, that people that that would be the apocalypse.

That homeless man holding the sandwich sign "the end is nigh!" how long has that been a thing?

2 Peter 3:3 Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.”

Yes I recall the y2k bug and all the panic, and yes how often we see people with those "the end is nigh!" signs when something big happens, who knows.

But comparing back then to over 20 years ago to today, so much has changed. In the past 2 years, we went from a regular everyday lifestyle to people being so afraid to interact with one another overnight.

But our current time period now, is so much more worse compared to over 20 years ago.

Look at the current TV shows, especially children shows, being made to promote alternative lifestyles.

We actually now approach a level of society where if a person does not agree with another persons fantasy lifestyle, it is considered "hateful".

I don't really pay much attention when many people say things "the end is near" or similar because often when it is said, there is nothing to back up that statement, but since the past 2 years, things are different, much different.

There is too much happening.

The threat of nuclear war is no longer a "if" in my opinion but "when" if things keep on going as they do. That is my opinion.

We have the technology and the means to bring about the mark of the beast anytime in my opinion (and these past 2 years have strengthened my suspicions as to how the MOTB will come about).

First thing, what is "buying and selling"? It is what we do everyday. So if people need to to be "marked" in order to buy and sell, what we looking at is some kind of "marked economy".

It stands to reason that for such a society to function like this, there has to be mechanisms in place that can determine that the people who take part in society have a "authentic mark" on them (that means there would have to be verification methods set up).

Look with credit/debit cards, each number is registered to a individuals account, but if someone was to try and use a card with a fake number and scan it through a machine, that is not going to work.

Now when looking in context of this word "worship" what are the people doing? Before the person accepts the mark, said person has to give their consent, and if they have given their consent, they have obeyed or submitted themselves to a higher authority to accept the mark so they can continue to be part of society. I suppose one can call this some kind of "2 factor authentication" to use a expression. The person has willingly complied with the requirement to get the mark and has accepted.

This "mark" whatever it is, is a "means of identification".

Now in the world we live in today, the reference to the right hand and forehead, maybe there is something inside the people who took the MOTB, something going through their blood stream and the locations mentioned could be referring to specialised scanning equipment? I also recall some time ago reading a article (I think one can still find it on the internet), of all the places in the body ideal for a implant, it was the right hand and forehead, something to do with the temperature in those locations.

Whatever it is, we are headed there, if we haven't got there already.

But what I have seen in the past 2 years, tells me we are much closer than we realise (for all I know, we could of been seeing a trial or test run of what the future will be like).

By the time the 2nd beast takes over the 1st beast that is set up; 2nd beast will have their on monetary system; look around how USA cant print money fast enough to give to everyone but the American people; it is not sustainable and we are around 300 Trillion in debt with unfunded liability crashing the worlds reserve currency; when that happens you haven't seen a economic woe. In order to buy, sell or trade you either have to work for or worship. Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Many churches are failed churches and Satan will step right in helping them where many already doing the work for him, will be telling everyone he is MESSIAH coming to fly you away. Make no bones about it kingdoms are his to give and take but he only has it for 5 months. He will come in peaceably and prosperously acting as Messiah with miraculous wonders that will fool anyone who has not studied with understanding. Many people are in dire straights as we speak and will take the mortgage payment the 2nd beast will offer. In a rush this a.m. but a deeper study is needed for this, another time perhaps.

In my opinion, the phrase "the last days" used in the New Testament was about the last days of the old Jewish economy - of sacrifices, temple, covenant - and about the final judgement of Israel during the destruction of Jerusalem and of the nation.

Nothing related to our times or to our future.

I always assumed "The Mark of the Beast" was a spiritual thing.

That your society, the one we make, you cannot succeed (buy or sell) without being cut-throat, oppressive, exploitative. That it was something we all had to work at ridding ourselves of and making a better and better society to rid society of it.

???

Many people think this. And many still do (Sunday worship for example). But if one was to analyse it, look at it from a practical application as well, one can see it has to be something literal.

Now depending where one lives, recall when entering into shops one was getting their forehead checked to record one's temperature before being allowed into the shops?

Now I didn't know this, but I was reading up on something interesting. Type in "Elenium HealthGate" either in youtube or google and have a look.

It does not take a genius to see where we are headed.

What I was saying is for people to type in Youtube "Elenium HealthGate" to have a look at what this scanning equipment does.

With all that has happened in the past 2 years, surveillance and contact tracing, having to scan yourself before entering a premises (either for work or going to the shops) how can people still not see where we are headed? We have seen coercion tactics that if people don't get vaccinated they cannot do their jobs (either have to quit or are fired) and cannot enter into shops unless for essential items.

So why is it so hard for people to see where we are headed?
