Don't worry.What have I created? O_O even i'm very confused! lol
I disagree evolution breeds hostility, but thanks for the reassurance I didn't do anything wrong! I appreciate it.Don't worry.
You didn't do anything.
You just started a good thread by asking a good question.
But evolution breeds hostility.
I don't know why He created them.Imagine going to heaven and asking God this question? I wonder what his response would be? hmm...
They have failed to convince me. I still have many questions they have not answered to my satisfaction.
I have a vision ..Let's deal with this bit.
On what basis do you claim that the Bible must never be contradicted?
No.
There is another far more plausible explanation.
You might as well argue that the existence of shoes is cause-and-effect evidence of shoe-making fairies.
I don't know why He created them.
But I don't think it matters either.
Let's say the answer is:
It could be any of a jillion reasons as to why He created them.
- I just wanted to.
- I like mosquitoes.
- They're fun to watch.
- One of my angels wanted Me to.
But one thing is for certain: He didn't create them to pester mankind.
There's a serpentine reason I believe that, but I don't think you'll fully understand. On what basis do you claim that the Bible must never be contradicted?
Well, it's too late now, since I already did it ... but I was going to say: "Put that wall of blue text up there and let's see your vision."I have a vision ..
Its a vision of a wall of blue text .. (but I'm not entirely sure its real) ..
Ah can see!Well, it's too late now, since I already did it ... but I was going to say: "Put that wall of blue text up there and let's see your vision."
HOWEVER, if your vision was different than mine, then go ahead and show us.
It's the same (except worse, I think) I've heard from Atheists and such, concerning God... ('Let the mountain come to Muhammed ..')
Have you ever thought that your lack of understanding may be because you simply don't understand a complex subject? And that if the scientists who have studied for years to gain a thorough understanding of the topic are convinced, then maybe you should be too?
After all, neither of us has the knowledge needed to judge whether it's true or false, the difference is that I choose to listen to the people who do, yet you do not.
Sure, and I've read quite a bit, though not much of the actual science —just the reports on it from mainline sources and science magazines. Always, the 'may have', 'indicative of', 'suggests' and never even a full outline of the theory. I've never seen a logic map of the theory, and, believe it or not, I have looked.Have you ever thought that your lack of understanding may be because you simply don't understand a complex subject? I'm a bit of a Johnnie come lately on this thread, nevertheless I will give my opinion.
We don't know how mosquitoes and other pests interacted with people before the Fall. But we know that as a result of the Fall, everything changed and the whole world, including plants, animals and insects were blighted, and many interactions with humans became negative. We now live in a world that is substantially different to what it was before Adam sinned and brought sin and death into the world.
I understand where you are coming from."We know" there was a "fall" and everything changed?
Actually, all relevant physical evidence indicates
this is not so.
Don't include me in " we" ( or most of the rest of the world).
I tend to be more accepting of ideas that make sense and
match both observation and prediction based on it.
Your version does neither.

I'm not at all sure you do.I understand where you are coming from.
There is the story of a person admiring the different works of art in an art gallery. He was so caught up with the brilliance and colour of a particular painting, that he said to the person standing beside him, "Aren't the colours of the painting so magnificent, and the scene and people in the painting so realistic. The person said, "I wouldn't know. I'm blind."
