Our true enemy are ourselves!

• “The righteousness of the perfect shall make his way right, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them, but deceivers shall be taken in lust.” (Proverbs 11:5,6).
• “He takes the wise in their own craftiness; and the counsel of the wily is carried headlong.” (Job 5:13).
• “And He will bring on them their own iniquity, and He will cut them off in their evil. Jehovah our God shall cut them off.” (Psa 94:23).
• “Whoever causes the righteous man to go astray in an evil way, he himself shall fall into his own pit; but the upright shall inherit good.” (Pro 28:10).
• “Whoever digs a pit shall fall into it; and he who rolls a stone, it will turn back to him.” (Pro 26:27).

Perceive that what make us fall is our wickedness and lust (James 1:13-15). The turpitude of the wicked only is the instrument of the Creator to discipline us.

Thus, when we are to harp on about something, let’s repine about our sins:

• “Why should a living man complain, a man, about the punishment of his sins?” (Lam 3:39).

After all:

• “So are the ways of everyone who gains unjust gain; it takes away its owners' life.” (Pro 1:19).

Therefore, if we long for being free of what really torment us, let us know and follow on to know the Creator (Hosea 6:3):

• “And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,” (Rom 1:28).
• “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.” (2Th 2:11,12).

So, have a good day seeking out to know the Holy Scripture and Jesus’ power (Luke 12:24). Only thus you won’t be tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine, in the dishonesty of men, in cunning craftiness, to the wiles of deceit (Ephesians 4:14):

• "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame." (Romans 10:11).
